We stopped here on a whim on the way home and so glad we did!
The lady in the shop was lovely and so helpful. We decided to pick up a venison pie and apple crumble and we are glad we did! The pie was packed full of large pieces of venison, everything was delicious! We will be back again soon!
Excellent little farm shop. Has a little play area/sand pit round the back that is free to enter if you have bought something. Food and coffee is very reasonably priced. Kids loved seeing the animals.
Loved it, called in with my mum. Two damn big Apple Pies , two slabs of cake and two coffee lattes for just over £8. ( You cana beat that), excellent personal customer service. Proper traditional farm shop , lovely seating area at rear with farm animals.
Pear Tree Farm Shop is by far my favourite farm shop, I stocked up on Dexter beef, venison and homemade apple pie. The apple pie is amazing and they even sell Langley Farm cream to go with it, if you are anywhere near here it is well worth a visit, top quality local produce at its best
Not quite certain whether we went on the correct day, but don’t exactly agree with all the rave reviews.I was expecting a fresh meat counter but instead found a freezer full of different meats.Was told the Dexter beef would arrive the next day. I personally would not go out of my way to visit again.
Came out to get sausages and bacon and have a coffee, didn't get anything as fridges were virtually empty with just pies
This is a really pleasant place to visit. The produce is excellent, and reasonably priced for this quality. The home- made cakes and pies are outstanding. You can even buy a single slice of various cakes to have with a cup of coffee/ tea which, weather permitting, you can enjoy at an outside table while you watch the goats and hens.This is a small, family- owned business and the people who work in the shop are friendly and helpful. I always feel more relaxed and cheerful after a visit!
Those wonderful...wonderful folk at Pear Tree Farm! Our cycling group called in here on Good Friday 2023. One of our group had an 'off' (crash) about a mile from here, and he wasn't able to carry on with the injuries he had sustained. The very kind people at the farm offered us their first aid kit and the offer to take the injured party to the local station in a car. He was OK to ride to the station about a mile away and was picked up at the other end of his train journey. These special people couldn't do enough for us. Great folk, Great place to stop.
