Lovely cafe, very clean and cosy.
Wide variety of dietary requirements catered for.
Peaky Blinders themed. Children catered for.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, and reasonably priced. Choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Reward card available for discounts after repeat visits.
Fresh cakes made on the premises, and takeaway options are available.
10/10 on all counts, would definitely visit again.
Lovely cafe, very cosy and great decor. Went in for mothers Day afternoon tea , and the spread was gorgeous. The wife and mother in law had the tea I had pie, mash, and liquor and my daughter had jacket potato cheese and beans all served hot and very tasty. Very friendly staff made us feel welcome. Just popped in for a full English for my breakfast and again food hot and tasty. The prices are good for the size of the portions you get. Will definitely come back here
Visited on Sunday 28th April after hearing good things about the place. Well that was not the experience we had at all. The tables were so dirty, nothing cleared away and food all over them. A young girl was stood behind the counter, doing nothing, didnt even acknowledge us. Stood and watched while i cleared the table and cleaned it myself using wipes from my Daughters changing bag. The high chair was absolutely disgusting, i was loathed to actually put my baby in it, but didnt have a choice. Food was ok, got a cooked breakfast and a sausage roll, asked for no mushroom or tomato on breakfast but came with both. Pastry on the sausage roll was undercooked. Was extremely disappointed with the whole experience, mainly by how dirty the place was and the bad attitude of the girl behind the counter. Will not be returning
Good value menu plenty of choice great friendly staff clean and tidy +they have pie and mash and liquor
Best Cafe in the area by miles, in a league of its own. From the choice of tea bags to go in your pot and different sugar options, to the heinz and HP sauces. The food is amazing all local produce, the cakes are lovely too. And if you want to go later in the day, they have roast dinners and a whole host of dishes including Pie, Mash & Liquor. Comfy, warm and top service, I've got my loyalty card and I'll be filling it ????
what can I say, it's a little hidden gem in yateley!! everytime we've gone, we've had wonderful, friendly service, food cooked to order. I had my hen party afternoon tea here, lovely food and spread. I loved it so much we booked the day after our wedding for breakfast with our wedding party! food is great, service is great, if you don't believe me come try for yourself... oh and the cakes are brilliant too, and not forgetting that Nat makes some amazing cakes to order!!
Very nice. Lovely staff. Food is great for the cost. Must come back for pie'n'mash.
Unfortunately my experience wasn't good at Peaky Bakers. A friend and I went for coffee and a snack about 11.40 today. I ordered a pork bap with fries, stuffing and a cappuccino; my friend ordered a cheese, ham, tomato toastie with a latte. The coffees were fine; the food wasn't! My pork bap had mould spots on it, the stuffing ball was like a bullet and my friend's toastie was burnt outside and not cooked inside.
They gave me another bap but the pork was hard and crusty so inedible although the bread at least was fresh this time!
We both made brave attempts to eat what we were given but had to concede defeat in the end. We complained and weren't charged but it has really put us off going again. The fries were excellent though!
