Found this place while waiting for an appointment. Wow wonderful. So clean and bright with happy staff. Pie and mash is second to non. The gammon sandwich with salad was delicious with lots of filling and a crisp salad on the side. Definitely will be returning as soon as we can. 100% recommend. A really good local small business.

It was a decent enough meal and no complaints about the food or service. Pie &Mash shops on the whole seem to be closing down as opposed to opening up, due to increased running costs, changing tastes and falling demand, so I'm very surprised to see a new Pie & Mash shop open in Petts Wood. This place would have done very well about 30 years ago, however there's just too much competition from other types of cafes and restaurants around nowadays.
Petts Wood Pie Mash shop absolutely terrible sure it's all bought in frozen, avoid there is never anyone in there makes you wonder how fresh things are with no consistency in turnover. Kelly's Bethnal Green Road E3

Goddards Greenwich are all proper excellent pie mash / eel shops.
I bought a chilled pie to takeaway to reheat at home. Pies look like they are bought in chilled, lots of pastry not a lot of meat not much flavour not seasond enough, and the price of £3.90 for a chilled takeaway pie was just too much, Fray Bentos pie in a tin has more flavour and costs a lot less.
I will not be returning to this place.
Popped in with two friends. Ordered two meat and one vegan pie. Pastry amazing, really lovely gravy, delicious filling. Lovely staff. Big shout out to Nichola, full of banter and really lovely gal. Took some seafood home. Also delicious.
Pie and mash was delicious!! The establishment is modern, clean and fresh with a warm friendly welcome. Vegan options available. 10/10
