We were a group of 15 on a Stag golfing weekend ( the average age was 55 plus). unfortunately the weather got the better of our stay and we only managed 9 holes on the Sunday. However the Hotel and Staff were very friendly and accommodating sorting us out a rebate because of the weather conditions. We were really looked after and were given a room where we could play darts etc. The food was outstanding. We shall be returning for a post Stag weekend....

Visited as non-members for £10 each to use swim and sauna. Could have used gym too but didn't on this occasion. The jacuzzi was lovely-really powerful and very warm! Whereas the indoor pool was average temperature, not too cold but was peaceful and having trees around was relaxing. Meals in the Earls Brasserie were good quality and served very quickly. All round pretty good!
Very nice welcome. Went straight to room very clean and warm. Had drinks in bar comfortable. Went in with friends to Christmas meal. Only one member of staff had dressed up. That was nice. Meals hot and nice. Christmas pud very nice .Good service. Disco was very enjoyable. Very good sleep. Breakfast staff good banter very relaxing. Excellent choice of food . Will be back next year.
We booked a deal for our Wedding Anniversary. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, which was just an overnight stay with evening meal, could not fault. We were greeted, very politely, helped with our luggage, my husband walks with a stick, to our room. This turned out to be a very nice suite, with views over the golf course. We don't play golf but the location was beautiful. The weather not quite as good. Evening meal, excellent as was the service, breakfast, help yourself but a good selection and plenty of it. Would certainly think of visiting again and definitely recommend.
Turned up for a days fishing was told there's 45 acre's of water to fish. What we wasn't told only 3 pegs were fishable. As there was a match on 3 were taken and 4 were unfishable.....
Nice little venue the staff were friendly and let me know where to set up the magic mirror photo booth. Was bright a drink across as they could tell the heat was killing me off slowly. The wedding room looked amazing and the scenery was to die for. The room was abuzz and the DJ amazing.

The hotel is a golf country hotel set in beautiful grounds with magnificent lakes and mature trees.
The hotel accomodation bedrooms bars dining and leisure area are a little dated, but very clean. Large bedrooms which are very comfortable. Breakfast was very good.
Very attentive caring staff.
Very good value for money.
Stayed one night for a business trip. Used gym and pool - good facilities. Bed was very comfortable and locaion very peaceful by the stunning lake. The decor is a little datesd, especailly the carpet in the corridors, and the potholes in the road are terrible, but the staff were lovely and I would use the hotel again.
