Popped in for some breakfast with the family.
Nice spot with plenty of seating and lots of staff who were very friendly and accommodating.
Had a coffee, tea, beans on toast & scrambled egg on toast. Which somehow come to £19.15.
Seems very very steep for items that would cost nothing to make. Is a shame as it killed the visit.
This place doesn't look very special on the outside, and to be honest, you could go past in complete oblivion to its existence. I have done but was directed there when I asked someone where they recommended for a quick lunchtime bite.
I am very glad I asked as this turned out to be a really good choice. The veggie options are a good variety and, again, they are imaginative - in other words, not just pasta, cheddar cheese or mushrooms. They also cater for gluten free diets.
The staff are pleasant and accommodating, the food delicious and I would recommend this place highly. They serve the best sweet potato fries I have ever had.

Was treated to lunch at Parrishes by friends. A good selection of hot meals and sandwiches. Staff pleasant but was not impressed when the waitress started clearing the table while some of us were still eating.
Lunch today was excellent. As was the service. But marked down because I see no need for someone else’s choice of music to play while I’m eating and chatting with my company. I don’t have music playing at home so why do I get it when I’m out it’s not necessary.
Nice little town......one of the stops on our group ride. Nice Cafe/tea room.
Really tasty soup for lunch. Excellent service. We will eat here again.
