I was seen at this small dental practice by Dr Shahir in absolute agony after some terrible treatment at a Bupa dentist. I had treatment spread over a few appointments and found the entire team to be so friendly and polite.
I experienced such awful pain for weeks after my initial treatment with bupa and expected pain again here, but honestly think Dr Shahir is a magician because when the local anaesthetic wore off I had no pain what so ever.
The practice is small, but after my bad experience with the BIG SHINEY FLASHY practice, I am a big fan of this small practice with their small but lovely team. Caroline in reception is lovely, made me feel welcome.
Excellent dentist
I have used Mrs Khambati for around 23yrs and she is an excellent dentist, not only on a technical level but also in manner and professional approach. The negative review on here absolutely does not match with my experience whatsoever and the numerous patients using this surgery would strongly suggest a high level of customer satisfaction. Highly recommended.
Absolute nightmare, the dentist here injected my vein when trying to carry out a root canal treatment. I had lost taste in my mouth for 6 months and can not fully smile anymore. This happened 2-3 years ago and the dentist took no responsibility for it and said it was nothing to do with her injection and never heard of something like this before. My doctor confirmed that it was from a dental injection which they did here at Park Vue. Just be careful when going here thats all...
I have been coming to this dental practice for over 25 years. Mrs Mariya Khambati (Dental Practitioner) is very thorough and explains the procedure very clearly, supported by x-rays and pictures etc. She is very patient, kind and always willing to listen to and answer any concerns I might have. The attention during treatment is exemplary. She always gives detailed advice on how to care for my teeth. Polly the dental nurse is also very kind.
The practice is well organised, waiting times are very short. Caroline the receptionist is engaging and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Excellent and professional service from all the staff.

I think that to be happy with this Dentist you must be one of its ‘favoured’ clients. There is an obvious culture of favouritism in this practice. I believe that this practice is also suffering from the current state of the UK and significantly focus on Money making as opposed to patient focused dental care.
The practice is very busy with patients which it clearly doesn’t have the capacity for. Due to the current trend of NHS Dentists moving over to private sector the patient population have no choice but to join and stay with practices like this.
The waiting room consists of a small box room with no space for important things like comfort and confidentiality. There is absolutely no regard or thought for patient privacy as you can often see and hear fellow patients receiving treatment.
The lead Dentist would do well with some training or re-education which revisits why she took on this role and her duty to the public. A smile and reassuring sentence does not hurt anybody. Mrs K often issues advice regarding flossing and brushing but seldom issues any of the free samples available in her room.
I often feel like obtaining a second opinion as advice often changes and appears to be dependent on the number of separate consultations a simple treatment can be stretched over. I feel this is mostly due to rushed consultations.
surely the practice could afford to expand in order to develop better rooms and waiting area. Perhaps a shop next door will become available for the much needed expansion and transformation.
Receptionist and Dental Nurses are nice and friendly but have not been taught to respect patients privacy which is often breached; although this is almost automatic as the doors between treatment rooms consist of thin wooden foldable shutters.
A visit to Park view reminds me of humble beginnings and care of the working class.
I hope that this review will aid constructive change and not bring offence.
Highly recommend this clinic. I couldn't imagine a dentist session can go as smooth and be literally painless. Amazing results, Dr Shahir is extremely professional and the rest of the staff is very helpful and respectful.
Based on the reviews and after being on the waiting list for almost 6 weeks we finally had an appointment with one of their main dentists, and O my god! What an appalling service from someone who claims they are a "healthcare professional". We were met with the most unprofessional dentists ever. 1. She automatically assumed that my mum did not speak English as I was accompanying her, she started directing all the questions relating to my mum and her health towards me, I then hinted that she should speak to her. 2. The dentist spoke with such coldness, lack of information and facial expressions and body language as if she was disgusted with the state of my mum’s teeth. I was watching with horror as she spoke with such little information and professionalism all she kept repeating is that you have to floss and do you know how to floss as if my mum did not care about the hygiene of her mouth. After a waste of 30 mins to 45 mins of an appointment (where only a couple of x-rays were taken), the dentist had no clear plan of action, I then started asking questions to which all the answers started with “I think" giving us such little confidence in her abilities. She spoke in such an abrupt manner to me and mum, having worked in the NHS for years I quickly picked up the lack of empathy, communication skills and standards of care this dentist had showed. Terrible service! My mum was shocked and will not be going back. 3. they also seemed to care so little about patient privacy, during treatment/check up one of the staff members kept coming into the room through a door that connects two of the treatments rooms together so it would have been very easy for the patient that was there to look into the room we were in and I could hear what was being said in that room. Overall, terrible, judgemental and unprofessional attitude plus no consideration for patient privacy at all. if this was my surgery, I would sack such a dentist and i do not feel she deserves my tax money.
Having been looking for a good dentist for my mum for some time I was very excited to find this surgery especially with the reviews above. My mum has suffered from severe gum disease for several years (hereditary) and as a result she has seen many dentists and had lots of treatments done which only resulted in disappointment and no improvement of her condition. This made her apprehensive to go to any dentist. Back to square one now.
