Best KPortal Reviews

We never actually stayed there but my review is for the resturant area. 1st time visiting The Park for a meal and found staff lovely and helpful. Food lovely and portion sizes great, good value for money too. Will be coming back with friends.
The rooms are clean and tidy, fairly spacious, with good amenities, the restaurant is pleasant and good value for money, the menu is slightly lacking in choice but the food is of a good standard. The location
is close to the main road with good access to Edinburgh and Glasgow and surrounding areas.
Good rooms for the price. Comfortable warm and great staff||Although the hotel corridors are a bit tired in places the rooms are very clean and comfortable ||Excellent staff. Magnificent all inclusive breakfast ||Evening meal available at very reasonable price
Had a lovely family meal there on Saturday for my husbands 70th birthday. The restaurant was busy, and the waiters were kept on their toes, serving food and drinks. Very helpful and friendly staff ????
Hotel is in a really good spot for visiting The Kelpies, Falkirk|Wheel etc and only 10 mins walk to town centre.|It’s a higgledy mix of building outside.|Inside front corridor leads to a bar. We had no idea where the reception was and had to ask at the bar. Can’t you put a sign above the reception?|We were given aground floor room. No 81. I thought great no stairs. Was shocked when we went in and the only non opening windows anywhere, were in the roof. Very dissapointed but didn’t want to make a fuss. Bathroom had no window either.|Room was huge and a sort of U shape. Bedroom and bathroom all newly refurbished, which was a plus. I like a firm bed but found their beds too hard.|The front dining area for residents needs an identity. Looks like a corridor with tables!|We stayed two nights and had breakfast. Food was acceptable. Staff in restaurant a bit inattentive. Had to keep asking for menu etc.|Too busy making themselves coffee in full view and four standing talking at the bar….|We had an evening meal here one night, which was lovely. But I think to do a 2/3 course special including steak, then saying you have to pay £6 extra for the steak or more, and then £2.50 for a sauce is a pure Micky take.|Next night we ate in Town at the Sanam Indians. It was fabulous.|Would I stay again? Definately not.|
Not stayed here yet but paid for it despite cancelling 6 days prior to my stay. Be extremely careful booking and paying for this hotel as am having to try and get my hard earned money back.
My second stay at this hotel, first one in June23. The staff are helpful and friendly and work hard. The pictures of the food on this site don't do the kitchen justice. I was a bit concerned before my first stay that the food was going to be a bit poor (based on the pictures) but I am pleased to say it is excellent. Very generous portions, full of flavour and for a price that you dont see very often (2 courses for £14). I have attached some pictures of food frmo my two stays. Breakfast was equally delicious.|Had a problem one night with a noisy guest in an adjacent room shouting on phone calls randomly until 01:30am. Queried if the guy was staying overnight again the next morning; he was so I asked if I could be moved. By the time I got back from work, they had relocated me to another room and moved my luggage. Fantastic!|I will be booking to stay again 2 more times on business .
After an initial mixup with the room (this is often the problem when requesting a twin, and you are presented with a double) we were given a room on the first floor which was huge, with a decent size bathroom.|As we arrived mid afternoon, we had some lunch at the hotel. There wasn’t a separate lunch menu, however, the soup and mac and cheese we opted for were delicious. We also ate there both evenings and the food was very good, with exceptionally good cheesecake. Breakfast was the usual mix of cereals, fruit, a small selection of cheese and meats, and a good choice of cooked breakfast.|All of the staff were very friendly and personable, honourable mention goes to Callum, who not only went above and beyond to help us, but also had to contend with extremely rude customers, a busy bar and restaurant and didn’t stop smiling. |As with a lot of the hospitality industry, the hotel is shortstaffed. This seems to be something that many customers seem to forget.|
