Just paid 40p extra to have my jacket potato warmed up. Got it home and it's freezing cold. Partner found big bit of egg shell in his sandwich. Staff seem to be thoroughly miserable in here lately too! I doubt I'll go anymore, it's convenient but it's not a great place in terms of the choice of food they offer, the quality or the service.
Absolutely love this place! Great customer service very friendly. Makes the best sandwiches and homemade soup! And the Lancashire crisps are delicious! Best deli around, wouldn’t go anywhere else! Turkey and stuffing barm and pea and ham soup ???????? Delish!
The prawn mayo is great (they didn't have any left when I last went though) - they have a tendency to auto-fill with a lot of salad which means it's quite hard to eat it without getting it everywhere though (kinda like subway does)
Lost a star because it has stopped serving iced fingers. I went in especially and straight after me another lady came asked for them, when told they didn't do them any more she walked out. Lots of people have been disappointed. We had a builder last year who bought two or three daily. What a bad decision to stop. Please bring them back.
Great selection of fresh meats, pastries and cakes. Also provides homemade soups, fresh sandwiches and other cooked foods. Friendly staff. Can get very busy near lunch time.
Excellent pies and sandwiches, with hot daily specials too. Cash only, though there is a machine outside.
Scrumptious - Good portions - quality excellent - friendly service and dogs are welcome. A well deserved 5 star.
Great pies, though things seem a little pricey... Could just be me being out of touch!
