Not too bad , a hot somewhat enjoyable meal. Sadly food quite bland to be honest , with the prices of this place so high I expect bigger portions ( 4.30 ) for small chips half of what you can see in the attached photo . 20 chips ….. I’ll go elsewhere in future ohh and there large cod at the time of my purchase was 11.70 , you can draw your own conclusion by the photo but too me that looks small
Fish and chips OK but nothing special. The fairly expensive large cod was quite small and the curry sauce was possibly the worst chip shop curry I have had. The large chips are fine for 2 (or 3 with smaller appetites). Not good value, but OK tasting fish and chips
I visited here on a Tuesday evening and had cod and chips served in a box! Which is always a good sign...especially if your travelling a little way with your precious food ???? no batter sticking to the paper. The cod tasted lovley, white flakey and moist. The batter was thin and crispy and I've got to say virtually no grease ????????also a big thumbs up for the chips, its a lovley clean place with helpful friendly staff behind the counter, will definitely be going back here ????
Went here for the first time last night waited 40 mins only to be told the quarter pound cheese burger I had order as well had been given to another customer and had to Wait a further 10 min for another one to be done when we got home and opened it up had no salad cheese was no existent very poor will not be visiting again
Long established fish and chip shop. Good quality food, portions on the smaller side compared to others in the area. Premises are clean and staff friendly. Prices also comparable to others. I believe you can phone your order through, definitely recommend doing that on Fridays.
Yeah I'm going to be the one to give one star, food tastes amazing but they're constantly upping prices and lowering food quantity. Just got a large chips and it was ridiculously tiny. Really not worth going here anymore because the portion sizes are just ridiculous now. A large portion use to do our whole family, today I barely got my 2 teens chippy supper done and now have to go make something else to go with my fish ????
This is what you get when you order a medium cod, £4.95. When in and complained only to be told that IS A MEDIUM. HATE TO SEE WHAT A SMALL ONE'S LIKE. I would not recommend this take away
Long established fish and chip shop on City Way Rochester. Quality of the food is very good with prices on the higher side and portion sizes smaller than some other local businesses selling the same products. The staff are polite and friendly. The business is popular and can be very busy at peak times,I believe they do accept orders by telephone
