Purchasing a coffee in the morning. I paid for it but unknowingly to me, the women didn't put the lid on my coffee properly, so as soon as I picked it up, it instantly went and spilled everywhere on the counter. She then cleaned it up as i waited for her to offer me a new cup.(which she did). However she then bizarrely demanded I also pay for the new cup of coffee as well! How bizarre as it's clearly her fault it's spilled in the first place. I left the coffee and will never return. I hope the cost of a cup of coffee was worth losing a customer. Shambles of a women.

Great coffee too. Oh and they added some Italian style croissants on the menu filled with almond, pistachio or berry cream!!!
You can choose to warm up your goodies and even offer you a drink when you purchase 2 items or more from the menu.
If you are passing Forest Gate station, definitely give them a go, you won’t be disappointed!
Really tasty fresh sweet pastries. Had a vanilla cherry knot still hot from the oven, so good!
When I went repurchase a delicious (greasy)treat previously priced at 3.50 i was charged 30p more than I paid for it last time. When I queried the price and the staff member said the price underneath the product applied to something else and she moves the items down to different spaces to fill the gaps without moving the labels. I told her that its not fair because its confusing. She didn't seem too bothered. It's such a shame because I like the bakery but the muddling of the prices is not a good thing ????.
I will use my 3.80 to get fresh veg and milk next time.
This place is absolutely godlike. I came because I was running late and had to skip breakfast, here's a shop with a selection of ready to eat pastries with the prices clearly displayed. The entire transaction took 20 SECONDS. and most of the delay was on my end. Absolutely fantastic service, and the bacon pastry I had was beyond delicious, and probably underpriced if I'm honest. I felt like I'd robbed them. Absolutely incredible shop, will now be skipping breakfast more often
Update: I've now become a regular customer here. They've started serving free drinks with certain menu items, making for a great lunch stop. Can't recommend strongly enough
They are just across the road from Forest Gate station. The bakery has a glass front so you can see all that’s going on in the back, but it is a hole in the wall so you just order, pay and are quickly on your way. The lady who served me was nice. Ive tried a range of the food here, my favourite is the potato borek. Overall this bakery is a little gem in FG and nice to try if you are passing. Reasonable pricing too.
Extremely convenient and perfectly located. They’re super fast to grab and go (no dine-in) if you’re in a rush. However, the dough underbaked and the food wasn’t warmed up enough in the oven. Hoping for better next time as I’m sure I’ll be back.
Was skeptical at first as I hadn’t heard of many of the baked items but the server was extremely friendly and talked me through the options, the spinach and cheese pastry was absolutely unreal!
