After using this chemist approx 40 plus yrs (pre David Jarvis) it was always a well run friendly shop. However they have a manager who thinks bully tactics is the only way to deal with problems related to prescriptions, either blaming staff for mis informing or in fact blaming customers. For a number of months i have been on the recieving end of this novel way of treating customers, informing me ive got dates for collection incorrect or ive muddled dates up. To the point of been trrat childlike this particular member of staff even taking to write right accross the bag the date i neededto collect. I have taken this as to be honest im not confrontational the Pharmastist often backing her that i am in fact wrong. To be honest if i was wrong or mistaken id admit it. Today i visited to collect my prescription to be told id collect half my order last week(i hadnt, i had collected my husbands) she speaks to customers with total contempt and i admit i raised my voice only to be told by the pharmacist"this only ever happens to you" and the manager telling me i need to take my prescription else where... Once they checked the computer it was their error and they put it together, i appologised for raising my voice.... The manager skulled away and wasnt to be seen or heard no admittence of her loud over reaction or mistake or a appology. Neither was there a appology from the pharnacist for his over reaction and wrongful accusation either, im not old nor stupid but feel this needs to be said, how rude and truthfully its upset me but they are NOT worth our buisness and as requested we will remove not only mine and my hisbands but my daughters regular prescriptions. Obviously David Jarvis Ltd either can afford to keep loosing customers or need to retrain all their management n pharmacy staff. Im sure also upper management and owners of David Jarvis Ltd will be thrilled to see such a negative review
