Pork Pies. What a load of rubbish. Queued up with the rest of the country to buy two large pork pies we had ordered because of their "so called reputation". Everyone complained at Christmas tasting. Full of grisly bits and probably the worst pork pies we have ever had.
You will never get our custom again and we advise any potential customers to think twice and look at alternative pork pie suppliers. One star is one too many.
Simply the best Pork Pies in the world. Coupled with fantastic friendly customer service and extremely reasonable prices. If only i could give you 6 stars ????
Live in Nottingham and family from Essex. Defantly recommend to family in Essex. Even to Nottingham Market every week, they sell out so quickly.wished could order and deliver to home
We moved to Devon a few years ago from Yorkshire my husband loves a pork pie my brother brought him one on a visit to us it was fabulous I am sorry I cant buy on line maybe one of our family members will visit soon
Overrated pork pies. Pastry too short and too thick, meat bland, too much bleeding through to the base and too much jelly which is unevenly distributed. Never understood why so much of a local following for these pies.
First time visit to this little shop for me, WOW, what a great experience from the staff. Only bought a couple of items, including two large famous pork pies. I can see know why this place has such good reviews. Without a doubt. The Very Best pork pie I ever tasted. That’s from a guy in his mid 60’s that’s worked all over the UK. These pies are way above the max five stars we are allowed to give, at a very very reasonable price.

Grew up in Hoyland common and always biked down to jump on a Friday to get pork pies and potted dog for my parents, queuing to get in the shop was part of the experience, a sense of community. Lovely pies,the best in south Yorkshire as far as I'm concerned
