Our local for lunch when we want to stay by the showroom but still get on our bikes at some point in the day.
Great bakery, great ladies behind the till too! Thank you
easily the best bakers in london. bacon roll loaded with half a pig's worth. huge fresh pastries and buns. all for a price so cheap i wonder how they stay in business so make sure you drop something in the tips jar every now and then. the staff are lovely, serve you straight away in and out so you can be on your way.
it is a bakery by the way, not a pret. if you're after coconut milk cappuccino and vegan brioche go somewhere else.
I'm new to the area and went into this small bakery for bread. The shop assistant very unwelcoming and somewhat rude. It was my first and last time shopping there. Firstly, whilst the prices are low, the quality is awful. Tesco's does better bread and pastries. Their croissants are a nightmare, out of shape, oily and greasy. Secondly, unwelcoming atmosphere and assistant coming across rude. Will not shop their again.
I call in here on my way to work. So good. One of the few bakeries where you can still get a traditional rock bun. Cheap too. Their massive pastries are all under £1, and they'll all keep you going til lunchtime.
Nice little bakery. They offer lots of cakes and pastries. There's even an organic section and everything smells great every time I go there. There are some aspects that can be improved though, like the somehow dull appeal of the place - if I didn't know the place was good, the front wouldn't convince me to enter.
Good traditional local bakery, more akin to what you might find in a small village than a short walk from the Square Mile.
Fresh rolls and sandwiches at super cheap prices along with a dazzling array of tempting sugary baked goods.
Fab!
Best little bakers in all of London. Great food, especially the buttered rock cakes, make your tea yourself so you can get it just as you like it and lovely staff.
Yes it is not expensive, but it is not even as good as Tesco value food, so I really don't get why people give it 5 stars. For instance their croissants are not crispy and made with a cheap alternative to butter, pain au raisin is similarly dull... not going back.
