Best fish and chips I have had for ages
Loved this place. Not open for very long but when it is make sure to visit. Definitely one of my favourite chippys and great prices.
Fish and chips. Does the job, cash only with no current working cash point in town is a weird one.
OVER PRICED! WAIT TO LONG!
Only ordered 1 fish, chips and peas. 1 chips, sausage and curry. Only one other customer in the shop who had pre-ordered their food. It took nearly 20 mins for our food. I think they had to go catch the fish before cooking it. I thought it would be fresh and worth the wait. Sadly I was disappointed. The fish was dry and chewy. The chips a little under cooked and sloppy cold peas. The curry wasn't very nice either. All the food wasn't hot or fresh. I don't understand why such a long wait. The young woman at the till was just sat there and the man serving asked my husband if he took steroids as he was wearing a gymshark t-shirt. ???? Very rude. We won't be returning
I gave 2 stars only because of the beautilful view we had.
What a bazaar experience. We waited outside in the queue for 15mins, on entering the shop your order is taken and then cooked! You reorder again and if you're lucky the food you ordered will be ready / still available. The atmosphere is dire nobody behind the counter can smile. Cash only. Ran out of curry sauce by 8pm. The food is reasonably priced ( 4 meals £25) and tasted ok. Surely, if someone took all the orders service would be quicker and I bet reviews would be much improved.
Arrived 15 mins after shop opened and we got stale chips probably from the night before. The fish was overcooked.. for a whopping £7.50 for fish and chips.. disappointing!
Brilliant. The chips were perfect, the fish batter a little salty for me but portion sizes were good. Excellent staff and a safe system. With queues out the shop you know it's going to be good.
Perfect portion size - no left overs but very full!!
Lovely crip batter on the fish and no bad bits on the chips will definitely visit again if in the area!
