Busy little place but we popped in on the off-chance of grabbing a table and hit the jackpot! Warm welcome, licensed bar and the food was out of this world! Sunday lunch; turkey and all the trimmings and a veggie version for me… made room for dessert too ????
Obviously a family run venture and I fully support somewhere so focused on providing a brilliant casual dining experience ⭐️- will be back soon
I went to this restaurant for lunch and found it nice and cosy with a very friendly atmosphere. I had ham, eggs & chips with salad. I accompanied it with a traditional pot of tea which went along well.
My only criticism is that the ham was rather thin and I’d have preferred more substantial pieces.
Great coffee and top BBQ chicken. Great host would recommend. Very clean would like to try the breakfast next time ????
We've been several times for lunch including an excellent Sunday roast washed down with a nice glass of red wine. Ali is a very welcoming host and her food is fresh and tasty, served with a smile. We visited during the Melbourne Christmas lights switch on and the atmosphere was buzzing! We'll definitely be back soon and would heartily recommend a visit for coffee and brownies or a substantial breakfast/lunch.
Four of us went for Sunday lunch, the roast beef was the best we've had at a restaurant for ages. It was beautifully cooked, tender and tasty accompanied with roast potatoes, yorkshire pudding and five vegetables - red cabbage, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower cheese and french beans. Reasonably priced, a good selection of wine and great service with a smile.
My friend and I were "Our Place virgins".It was quiet but we were given a warm welcome and sat down.We both had a full English which was excellent. Quality sausages x2 medallions of Bacon, Beans , mushrooms black pudding and 2 eggs together with granary toast.Washed down with piping hot coffee and orange juice.
Excellent quality definitely recommend and owner very friendly..
I had my 60th birthday celebration here. Alison and the team were absolutely first class. They organised everything perfectly and couldn’t do enough to ensure I had a great time celebrating. I had tapas and it made for a fun and informal evening with friends. Thank you for making the evening such a great memory.
Came here Our Place for a Sunday roast after a dog walk and it did not disappoint! Food was amazing and staff were so friendly. Really reasonably priced as well. Will definitely be back.
