I've visited Oundle Tyres over the years several times and always been really impressed with the speed and price. Today, I popped in at 8.24am, seeing the lights on, music on and cars obviously being worked on. I walked through the workshop and called out 'hello' when I couldn't see anyone. A gentleman emerged from a door and said (very grumpily): "I can't even go to the bloody toilet in my own place...it's not against the law, you know." I thought he was joking at first, so made a joke about how I thought there'd been a zombie apocalypse, which didn't go down well. He said I was rude (which I really am not), said that he doesn't even open until 8.30am and then asked how he could help me! I said he couldn't and that I would go somewhere else, with him mumbling about how he didn't want my business as I left. I was really shocked. Maybe he was having a bad day, but crikey! I always like to support local businesses and I am always polite, but I have now booked to have my car tyres done at Halfords. Still totally shocked by this morning's encounter!
Tyre repair. Absolutely fantastic. Never had such fast and excellent customer service. Also very well priced. McD - you have a lot to learn from this small business!
Absolutely wonderful people. I am not local, but pulled in to see if they could help me, and 20 minutes later they have removed the nail, fixed the hole and I am on my way. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Service. As a visitor from Australia, I had a challenge when I got a screw embedded in one of the tyres on my rental car. The guys at Oundle Tyre & Exhaust were terrific. They gave me a time to be there, then quickly and efficiently repaired the tyre at an extremely reasonable price. Great Job. I highly recommend them.

Had a slow puncture on the drive up from Somerset for a TV show nearby. Upon looking properly I found a screw in the tyre, phoned these guys from a quick Google search. I rolled in 10 mins later and was driving out all fixed up 15 minutes later. A* guys, thanks a lot for the easy and very reasonable priced service! ????
