Thought I’d try my local chinese and definitely won’t again.
Cold food despite pickup, rude service and edible only because I was hungry ????
Not fit for human consumption got a chicken szechuani and chicken was raw with skin. Chicken chow mein as well uneatable everyone avoid this place l feed my dogs better quality food then this place
Lovely food and fast, polite service. Special chow mein was good and so we're the chips and prawn crackers. Really well priced for what we got. Only criticism would be the chicken curry could have had a little bit more flavour, but it wasn't bad by any means!
Food very average! Duck spring rolls very fatty and consisted of meat which was mainly grey coloured duck skin! And beansprouts!
Chow mein lacked vegetables and was oily. Smelt lovely but was very disappointing

First time customer, having driven past on numerous occasions. This takeaway is cash only but co-op next door has a cash machine so no problem. Food was really good, and the prices were lower compared to our usual takeaway. Will be visiting again.
Had a take away from here a few times. I've always found it over greasy and not as full of flavour as other take aways, but i went back because it was close. Tonight I ordered chicken with mushrooms. It was literally loads of oil with some thin gravy at the bottom (separated from all the oil). It was truly disgusting and tasted of nothing but grease. Went straight in the bin. When I've had this dish from other take aways the sauce has been rich and thick and tasted lovely. Save your money and make an effort to drive further afield. The Chinese in Ashby is worth the trip!
We have a takeaway from here most Saturday nights. Tonight we've sent the lemon chicken back to the shop - it was literally a 1/4 inch thick, rubbery textured chicken and icky wet batter - and swimming in grease. Missing one rice. Chips over cooked and many of them burnt. The vegetable dish has a strange "on the turn" smell about it. There was a hair in the plastic bag. Won't be going again.
