The pastries you enter the shop for should be fresh and tasty especially on Monday morning just after the opening time. Unfortunately that was disappointing especially for the price you pay for it. Bought 3 of them and all taste gummy and not fresh
Won't be shopping there again I'm afraid.
I was in the area and found this little gem. Had a beautiful chai latte, I got 2 loaves. One was ok the other was disappointing. Monday morning, you would expect it to be fresh especially for the price the charge and the size of the loaf. The eggs were extremely beautiful but not the toast it was on.
Such a great place. Gotta be quick if you want one of their fab pastries, they go quick. Bread is always high quality. The coffee is so good, far better that Costa across the road! It's not in the center of Windsor which is great for the folks that know!
I've just come back from the store and finished my scrambled eggs on toast and can honestly say that this is the best bread and highest quality eggs I have had in Windsor. I've been living here for a year now and walk past the shop every day, but have previously continued onto Waitrose... not any more. The bread was light and amazingly fresh and the eggs had rich yellow yolks and thick whites perfect for poaching!
