Castiglioncello sul Trinoro è un ridente borgo ristrutturato nei minimi particolari. Posto isolato, non è mai affollato. Abbiamo mangiato nel terrazzino aperto alla vista sulla vallata dove prima si trova il locale del paese. Abbiamo mangiato veramente bene, piatti locali molto curati, ottimi anche i dolci. Servizio ottimo personale veramente cordiale.
Spettacolare, un percorso sensoriale di sapori dagli antipasti, ai primi e ai secondi di carne gustosi... Da non perdere!!!

Wow, this place certainly lives up to the hype of the other reviews! We couldn’t fault one thing. The food was exceptional, the service fantastic, the ambience ‘just right’. Incredible to think that a restaurant like this exists in such a small and remote village - trust me, it’s worth the journey.
Originally, we just wanted to stop here for coffee, but in the end, we decided to have lunch. The staff is excellent. Even though we arrived in two groups and ended up being nine, there was no problem for the ladies. We felt sorry for them as they moved tables back and forth to seat us together. The serving of the food was flawless. As for the food itself, I probably don't even need to talk about it. Simply excellent. Overall, it's a great restaurant at a high level, with a great atmosphere and interior. We can definitely recommend it.
The food is incredible and the staff are some of the best we had anywhere in Italy. We visited during the Concert series held by hotel Monteverde and took the short walk to the restaurant after the show which made for a memorable evening.
The restaurant is on top of a mountain in the small village of Castiglioncello but certainly worth the drive for a special occasion.
