Halal Korean food in Edinburgh! The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, but cosy. The service was great - casual and efficient. The prices itself were alright, but slightly on the steeper side imo. We ordered the fried chicken and bibimbap. Whilst the fried chicken batter and fry was very well done and crispy, the honey and soy sauce had an overpowering honey taste. The bibimbap though was deliciousssss - huge portions, and very well made. Highly recommended :))
Second time trying Korean food, in my opinion it was good. The sweet chill fried chicken with nuts on top was delicious and definitely would get it again (3/5). The katsu curry was well presented and tasted delicious (4/5). The only issue was that we waited around 20 to 30 minutes to get a table.
Popped into this place on my walk into the city centre. What a nice surprise. It's not a fancy place, but it served up a flavourful Korean meal. I ordered the seafood stew with rice, soondubu jjigae. It was great. It's really service and the kitchen is efficient in getting your meal quickly. Food is served piping hot. Prices are reasonable too.
The food here is wonderful. I recommend the beef bulgolgi bimbimbap (hot), I literally had to come back for it two days in a row. All the ingredients are so fresh and flavorful. Beyond that, the ambiance is cozy and lovely.
This is my favourite restaurant in Edinburgh. Food is always so fresh and wholesome. The Korean stews are always so light but so filling. The quality of ingredients is great..
The prices are ok for what you get.
Service is super quick and friendly.
Vibe in here is relaxed. Sit with your book no problems.
Note they shut at 830pm and have strange opening hours.
Really tasty food served quickly. The atmosphere is basic and utilitarian, but made up for by the very affordable prices and delicious authentic Korean cuisine.
We had seafood&onion pancake, and sweet chili chicken, which are all tasty! Authentic Korean food~ As an asian, I've tried many korean restaurants, this one leaves me very good impression, and I'll definitely come back.
