Food was OK, but £££££, staff were excellent,but nothing about the food made me want to revisit.Coffee from a machine,in short other places do it far better for the price.
1st April, 2024 ordered club sandwich which was on toasted thick bread (burnt) bread was soggy with mayonnaise, ham VERY salty cut thick,to much lettuce on,will not return as staff were nasty and shouting at me for complaining..
Went to this eatery was given menu’s and that was the last time we saw the waitress , it was not that busy but after 20 minutes I’d had enough , never again , if that is the service I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Shocking service, staff told us wrong specials, limited menu meant we decided to go elsewhere after our drinks. Made worse by being called back in to the cafe 5 minutes after paying to be told the note was fake. I feel absolutely scammed as there was no way of proving it was the note I’d paid with and the note had come from a cash machine the day before! Avoid the place!
Called here on the way home after a poor experience at the Cheese Shop Cafe in the town centre. It was like chalk and cheese, cafe staff (and garden centre staff) were extremely helpful, we only had cakes and drinks but as I say after the previous experience it made our day and brightened the afternoon

I found one member of staff very rude we ordered 2 mugs of coffee and 2 toasted tea cakes coffee arrived in small teacups we said ordered mugs and were told they had no clean mugs within 1 min a waitress walked by with mugs of coffee I asked why we did not get mugs she just said if u don’t want them I will take them away no offer to get what we ordered teacakes arrived I ate half but second half was burnt when I said about it she just said u ate the first half then charged me 3.95 for half a teacake I feel ripped off if they had just said sorry
Nice enough but quite expensive for certain things, a sausage roll is £8.95!! Yet a roast dinner is only £10.95
