Absolutely wonderful all-around, beautiful people and so very friendly and welcoming. Immaculate premises and noce and warm. We had a all day breakfast, and it was superb. Lovely cuppa also. Will be returning and can't recommend this place or people enough. Great parking space also.
Fantastic breakfast, one of the best places I've eaten at, the service, friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of this place all add to this perfect cafe. Ample parking and very much vale for money food.
Visited today with my brother for first time and good friend Nigel who recommended and absolutely beautiful place lovely food great prices and staff lovely ✨✨thank you so much and will definitely be returning soon????✨

Popped in for couple of breakfast butties and they were perfect.
Quick and friendly service
Sherry & Malcolm serve up good food at reasonable prices. They are always friendly & welcoming whenever you pop in. Clean, spacious plenty of room to sit & either have a cuppa or something to eat, very popular with cyclists, workers, you name it. Large car park in front of Ye Olde Pound Cafe, ticks all the boxes.

When we first went there staff was very friendly. Breakfast was lovely. Second time we went. My chap asked for sauce and cutlery. The guy replied already gave you them. My chap replied no sorry you haven’t. The guy came out dumped the sauces and cutlery on the table. Was very abrupt towards. Then moments later they both came out and said rudely excuse me and dumped the plates in front of us. Second time we went sane abrupt manner. Got moaned at for not taking the plates in last time. (We are not waiters). Third time we went I asked for two large breakfasts and a cup of tea. Was given coffee. I accidentally knocked over the chair with my handbag while getting a cold drink out of the fridge. I apologised to the guy. Got ignored. Lady came out from the back. I apologised again for knocking over the chair with my handbag. She replied to the guy “WHAT “ he replied just take no notice. I turned round and said that’s not very nice. When they brought the food out to us as we sat outside. Both plates of toast got slammed down in front of my partner the two breakfast was slammed down in front of me. I find this behaviour very rude and unacceptable We will be looking for another cafe to go to. My advice is to avoid this cafe like the plague.
