Beautiful tea room at Norbury junction. Reasonable prices..the breakfast bap is excellent value for money comes with a cup of tea or coffee. Enjoyed the boat trip with the cream tea from the cafe which was delicious
Ordered sausage egg and chips, eggs nice frozen chips with not a lot of taste and the sausage looked frightened to be near the pan. One meal eaten prior to the other arriving. The cottage pie quite tasty and chips very basic ,cottage pie in dish put on plate with chips by side very poor presentation
Stopped by for a quick snack and drink post alpaca walking with Knightley Alpaca Trekking down the road (who recommended this cafe). Enjoyed a lovely lemon drizzle cake and scone overlooking the canal.
Beautiful location with friendly staff but the food is shocking for the price charged, low quality produce at top price £6.99 for a tiny 1 sausage 1 bacon 1 egg bap sounds within reason but the quality really let's it down and a good vet could of got the bacon a new leash on life
A nice place to stop for a cuppa with the lovely setting of the boat yard.
Really disappointed with the all day breakfast, the worst I have had in a very long time, poor quality food and thrown together like slop on a plate plus costed over £20 for 2 with a brew ' shocking to be honest.
Norbury Wharf tea room ; we visited this place and had a wonderful 75 minutes boat ride in the canal. The Lady on the boat, was such a lovely soul. Boys had a wonderful time, enjoyed a lot of the natural scenery and the water and the ducklings. And I enjoyed watching the ripples and luckily saw couple of fishes on the shore when the water and wave moved away from the shore. We enjoyed tea and lovely scones inside the boat as well. Though they were little bit expensive for a scone and a cup of tea, but still, that's how they income and it is worth it!
5/5. 10/10. 100/100.
£6.99 for a lovely breakfast bap and a pot of tea. Great bread, sausage, bacon and a fried egg cooked perfectly. Dog friendly, fire on, plenty of cosy seating, kind and courteous service and good prices. The full English both large and small looked excellent too. Will definitely be back as this is an excellent dog walk from nearby Gnosall. Clean toilets. No fuss, just pop in and have a cup of tea and watch time go by in this little gem of a place.
There's also an honesty box where you can purchase duck feed for the local wildlife!
Had a fabulous breakfast here. We ordered the large breakfast but didn't want certain items (ie black pudding and I don't like beans) but the bits missing were made up with extra of the other items on the plate. Loads of toast and loads of individual butters. Also beautiful coffee and all enjoyed whilst watching the ducks and swans swimming around and sparrows drinking from the dog's water bowls. Lovely.
