What a treasure! Lovely cafe that could have come straight out of little arty alley way in Amsterdam. Happy staff and full of people. Had a gorgeous big cheese toastie with house made pickles and ferments.
And so many bonus points - bottomless filter coffee (I love filter coffee), accepts cash, artisan bread for sale as well as coffee beans, tea and “trinkets”.
First time here and will definitely be back when we visit Beccles! We had coffee, almond croissant and Pastrami bagel - delicious! Best almond croissant ever and the brunch options were a welcome change from the standard fare of some cafes!
Great coffee and tasty food as always. All welcome. Small but comfortable, popular with a range of customers from ladies that lunch, parents and toddlers, couples and singles.
Visited this coffee cafe today with my wife.First time for me. What a great cafe,coffee excellent, cheese scones very good. Lovely atmosphere, very clean. The service was first rate. I live in Beccles, and this venue is a great addition to the town. If you live in Beccles or visiting the town,pop in ,you will not be disappointed.
I have visited this coffee shop before but under a different name and different management. The coffee was excellent in the previous owners coffee shop and I can say that the coffee under the new name and new management is also excellent too. ????
Absolutely love Old School…it’s quiet and serene and does exactly what it sets out to…excellent coffee, delicious food to accompany it and a lovely calm space in which to enjoy it all! The bagels and scones are a treat…the coffee (unlike at SO many places) is delicious and never bitter or weak. I visit as often as I can and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!
Heard about this place recently and thought I'd pop in as I do really enjoy my coffee and seeing new places pop up local is great.
A great cup of coffee, Enjoyed a cappuccino and a cortado and it's truly a great place to get coffee. Definitely the best I have come across in beccles. Can't speak for their food as I didn't have any but it all looked fresh and delicious.
Definitely a spot worth going to if you like your coffee and want a nice location to grab some light bites.

Great Coffee....We have had trouble finding decent strong tasty coffee in Norfolk whilst on holiday finally found a good coffee! But not only that they have yummy treats too. Including a very good vegan cookie and massive pain au Chocolat.
