Got to be one of the worst breakfast I have ever had
Meal was very nice and the cafe is highly recommended for a super menu, they also have various paintings n gifts for sale...
After Cycling on the old railway line I stopped here for a lovely coffee, soup and sandwich, there was reasonable space outside to secure the bike to metal railings.
went for a breakfast , had to wait 40 minutes before it got served when it did eventually arrive it was awlful the bacon was far too salty and burnt , the black pudding was small portion it was the end bit it was burnt and hard , the sausage was burnt , the tomato wasnt cooked long enough , the only decent thing was the egg and toast never again will i go for a breakfast .
I always go to the Old Mart Café when I am in Maud and every time I enjoy the good food and the friendly service. A few weeks ago I was there quite early so it was the right time for their cooked breakfast. I am very specific about my breakfast, so I asked if it would be possible to change a few things, actually, everything was possible and I had a real dream breakfast! I am looking forward to my next visit.
Lovely friendly staff, great food. I enjoy going for lunch or just a quick cuppa. The girls are so welcoming and with the pandemic everything has been well thought out and made as easy for everyone as possible but still adhering to the new rules and regulations. Great job everyone.
Driven past for years don't know why when it is really lovely inside. Social distancing respected, exceptionally clean. Staff really pleasant and food delicious and great value for money. Couldn't ask for more. Even grumpy grandad enjoyed it and didn't grumble once. So will be back.
Lovely cafe with lovely home bakes. Went for a morning cuppa to sit down after a long dog walk. Very friendly staff. Any purchase below £5 needs to be cash, but over this and a card is fine. Plenty of parking space.
