The old boatshed has been converted into a nice pub. There is an excellent choice of beers larger and cider, including a good selection of hand-pulled cask conditioned real ales. It's a friendly, welcoming popular pub. There are no bar games or fruit machines or food, just excellent beer. Dog friendly. Highly recommended.

The old boat shed bar / pub is quite the find for the serious craft beer enthusiast and small batch spirit & good marque wine drinkers at reasonable prices . The boat shed vibe is relaxing and informal and is an eclectic mix of old and new decor some featuring maritime pieces to tie in with the buildings heritage and other quirky pieces of decor , that are easy on the eye and all blend in to create the very special old boat shed experience !! . The bar is an independent business and it's owners run the bar themselves , the service was most polite and friendly upon our visit and we were warmly welcomed and felt comfortable and relaxed . The bars prices are reasonable considering the quality of drinks on offer , as the wine we purchased was a quality brand and not a generic low grade drink !! And the red wine was fresh to the taste !! , We also had a small bottle of prosecco which was chilled to it's optimum temperature and served in the correct glass . The boat shed bar is also a dog friendly bar that welcomes well behaved dogs and is also a suitable bar for guide dogs and their owners as there is a clear central space without seating . The bar is cleaned to a good standard and it's WC facilities are cleaned regularly throughout the day to a good standard . The bar has a varied customer base , and I noticed that a it's a popular choice with ladies meeting up as it has a safe and steady approach to the drinking experience and also popular with couples , plus the regular customers who I'm sure went as customers but left as friends and return time and time again . The staff /owners really did push the boat out upon our visit with Their hospitality and welcome and if in the area again we surely will return . RECOMMEND BAR FOR THOSE WHO APPRECIATE QUALITY DRINKS & SERVICE IN RELAXING SURROUNDINGS !! Whilst in the Withernsea area .

Friendly greeting & service. A nice pint of Spitfire lager. Reasonably priced for a micro pub at around £4.20 - £4.40 a pint. Dog friendly. Clean & tidy facilities.

Lovely little micropub selling 3 different real ales and a range of keg and ciders when we went. Can try in 3rd of a pint glasses. Came in the afternoon with our (quiet on this occasion) 2 year old and weren't sure if allowed but we're warmly welcomed. Excellent friendly service and atmosphere, can buy 2 pint carry outs, look forward to coming back again!

The fantastic staff and friendly atmosphere make this place the perfect place to enjoy a drink or two. Plenty of guest ales and ciders to try plus there's an acoustic night every month. Great place to stop by - even if just for a coffee.

Great little bar. Excellent atmosphere. Friendly and welcoming, and because of which we stayed longer than planned.

Very windy and wet evening.. Have been in this pub before with my wife's small mobility scooter without a problem and all the seats taken.

This evening went in. Parked the scooter out of the with no more than 5 others in. Ordered the drinks and was asked to move the scooter outside.

Having checked the room inside before we went in we did not see any problem. The landlords reason was "we will be very busy later". Obviously assuming we were planning of having more than 1 drink.

Order canceled and off we went.

Going to be a long time before we are back........ if ever!

Lovely welcoming micro pub. Made to feel welcome by the lady behind the bar. Absolutely great selection of beers and well kept. We had a couple of pints, played some board games and enjoyed the atmosphere. Lovely locals chatting and enjoying themselves with a nice ambient soundtrack playing in the background.

Great place to visit.
