I go in every now and then to get pasties for the father or for the workers, they rate them 10/10 everytime, and the male worker unsure on name knows how to lighten your day :) thankyou! Best place in Tavistock.
Visiting from Nottingham where you don't get a proper pasty anywhere so of course I'm not going to miss out while here. Oggy Oggy did not disappoint. The flavour was amazing I sat in and had my pasty with chips and it all came out piping hot. I'm very fussy about chips that are not chippy chips and they were cooked to perfection and would easily rival a chippy chip. Oh and they are dog friendly too which is a massive winner for me. Thank you team I will be returning.
Despite the move to smaller premises down the road, this is still the best pasty shop in town, with the friendliest most welcoming staff, you get treated like a regular regardless of if it's your first time or your fiftieth, really have nothing but praises to sing of the place
Lovely cheese and onion pasty had by the husband, freshly made ham, mustard and coleslaw sandwich, both dishes came with side salad, the sandwich even had some crisps as well. Hot chocolate was tasty, not powdery or too watery. Latte was really well made too. I'd highly recommend here for a lunchtime stop off.
we had not booked and were just visiting Tavistock on a Sunday. My son did not want to a packed lunch so I suggested we went for a walk to and we found oggy oggy and they had gluten free pasties available so we went in and eat inside food was well cooked and portion sizes were good and they seemed knowable on gluten free food. unfortunately were chip were cooked in the same fryer as sausages so they were not suitable for coeliac.
One of the best if not the best pasty shops in tavi . The staff are all really happy and helpful.i dont go in as much as I would like but the chap behind the counter remembers me and my order every time. Really chatty really friendly like I have known them for years . Great tasting pastys and sausage rolls even vegetarian options and the steak and kidney pie are epic just like my grandma's.big bits of steak and kidney.The variety of pastys are brilliant and vast. Would like to see a cheese and marmite version . Very clean and very hygienic
Will change my opening sentence it's the BEST pasty shop around go give oggys a go you won't be disappointed

Went into Oggy Oggy Tavistock today and will not be going back again.Ordered a breakfast which was ok not brilliant,the customer service was non existent with the young girl only saying breakfast when she brought it out.Where oh where has Pleases and thank you gone,not even enjoy your meal.It costs nothing for good manners and politeness.Have been to other eateries where the staff are friendly and helpful,that’s where I will be going from now
