Visiting the cotswolds on a hoilday.
Fancied a fish and chips and found ocean fayre fish bar.
Staff was very helpful and friendly made a great effort in making us feel welcome.
Food was excellent one of the best battered sausage and chips I've had.
Would highly recommend going and definitely will go back if in the area again.
Good quality food at reasonable prices.
Not sure I should give this top marks incase everyone has the same idea.
I have kebab meat and chips, I've also had the cod and chips. Best I've ever tasted. And I live next door to a branded fish and chip shop
Review below is a nonsense. Portion sizes cannot be too big, the more the better. Keep up the good work guys, fab food and service.
Very large portion of chips, but they tasted like they had been sat around for a while.
Pie was good but the gravy was not 'chip shop gravy' just thick poorly mixed in instant gravy. There was a large lump of undissolved gravy granules at the bottom of the pot, so was very expensive for the amount we got and very disappointing as we were expecting a better fuller flavour to go with the pie and chips.
The fish & chips is superb, the BBQ chicken very tasty and great burgers too. Very generous portions, welcoming staff. It's got to be the best fish & chips in town. Recommended!
Very cheap yet good quality food. Cod is good here. I just wish they would open at 430pm instead of 5pm would be super convenient then and yes I know it's say's on here that it does open at 430 but it really doesn't.
Much better value than Simpsons honestly.
Great food and very polite staff, would 100% recommend and will definitely be going back.
