3.10 for large chips and u get less then 1 paper bag worth . Rang to ask and they confirmed that is all u get . Feels abit wrong tbh.
most places put a scoop on top aswell but not this place . won't be going back terrible size portion and some of the chips been cooked several times
Sorry but just rubbish chips where dry didn’t tast grate and the portion size i was like where are all the chips ????????maybe if you ask for a x large you will get a portion of chips, battered sausage was ok but have had better curry sauce was like pot noodle curry to be honest should of just got a pot noodle. honestly save your money and go somewhere where you will get your moneys worth, or just stop being so tight with your portion size and give people what they pay for ????
Great place. Friendly staff and good fish and chips. Got in on a Saturday as soon as the doors opened waited less than 4 minutes and I was out the door. Tried as my other chippy has gone down the pan. Thumbs up.????
When this place first opened with new owners it was top rate. We tried for the last three weeks having sausage and Chips and another time scampi and chips. Scampi was good. Chips on each occasion were awful loads of hard bits. Sausages were dry and tasted as it they were cooked last week. Really disappointing and a waste of money. Will not he going there again
Exactly the same as the review just before my one. Purchased a bag of chips for lunch today and was really disappointed. The chips were extremely dry and contained more burnt tiny bits than actually chips. I think these were last nights chips reheated this morning. Straight in the bin. Never again.
Fish is fine, but I suppose to wait about 8min which turned to be 25min. Have been fist, without queuing but left one of the last… I should leave first.
It’s also overpriced for what it is.
Used this chip shop today for some lunch I had a portion of chips and saveloy.
I should of expected it to be bad from the moment I asked for a chip fork and they said they didn’t have any.
I took my saveloy and chips and went and found somewhere to park van and eat them
Sadly they were awful probably the hardest burnt chips I’ve ever had, tasted awful tried the saveloy well it didn’t taste like a saveloy just a greasy soggy mess , so it all got binned total waste of money , I had to go get a sandwich from Lidle, I won’t be using that awful chip shop ever again.
