Salt and spicy chips decent. Good flavour with good portion size. Both curry and black pepper sauces ok. Pepper a little watery. Spicy shredded chicken awful. Far far too chewy and not pleasant, left half as got tougher as it cooled down.
Prob wont go again as qq on wiltshere rd is a mile away and ten times better.
Not impressed.
Service was good and concise. Prep time approx 20 mins.

When you order the food it consistently arrives very hot in the containers!
The sweet and sour chicken balls are absolutely perfect! Crispy and just that light grease with great texture in the chicken.
Chicken chow mein is very tasty and the portions are large for the size.
Hong king style pork is very delicious with the vegetables just crispy and cooked beautifully.
The egg fried rice is very nice too
Chicken and mushroom curry smells very appealing.
Every food item is unique on its own.
The ordering is fast and efficient. The staff sweet are pleasant and the convenience of the experience time and time again is always great.
I really look forward each time ordering from Oakwood Chef.

Tried Oakwood chef for the first time today, both me and my partner were thrilled with the food. Customer service was excellent, will definitely be returning again!

Live abroad so I only have a Chinese every 6 months and tried this place for the first time tonight based on good reviews and really disappointed. Tastes the same as the supermarket "fakeaway" bags, frozen bag of supermarket onion rings, couldn't even get simple fried rice right - bland and boring. Wouldn't go here again. Takeaway prices, £50 wasted, cos now I still fancy a Chinese cos I don't feel like I've had one.
We've been having food from Oakwood Chef for years now and wouldn't go anywhere else.
The food is always hot and delicious and the menu offers plenty of variety.
The staff are fabulous too.
Had a takeaway last night for a party of 8. The food was delicious as always, everyone enjoyed it (and we had a lot of it!) Very friendly service/delivery. Oakwood Chef is the best Chinese takeaway around- if you haven't tried it yet you really must! ????
