Meal was amazing, specially the battered mushrooms and the to due for chocolate fudge cake light fluffy and chocolatey what more could you ask for...drinks I had a passion fruit daiquiri and a raspberry daiquiri they were excellent.
Food was really good and staff were friendly. Prices are average but the real reason I've only given 4 stars is because, except a for us, the place was completely empty. This is a real shame if you ask me. We chose a sharing starter for a tenner and there was easily enough for 4. The mains were tasty and we never got to desert because we were full...which tells you that their portions are ample as well. Free parking is a bonus.
When I first arrived at Oakwood, I noticed a lot of effort had been put into renovating the interior. The place looks fantastic inside! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating for the duration of my visit and the food presentation was brilliant. My friends ordered food, received their orders promptly and thought their meal tasted excellent. I sincerely had a really nice time!
If you are yet to visit Oakwood, I highly recommend you give it a go!
A beautiful dinning experience while passing threw fife on our way to St Andrews to play a game of golf. I had a big dirty burger, my partner Macaroni and a cheese and a beautiful bubblegum daiquiri to top it off. The restaurant was immaculate and service was outstanding.
The food was well presented and delicious with a very good menu. The service was excellent and the staff showed a keenness which was attentive but not overbearing. Only downside was the conservatory was a little cool but it was a bitterly cold night. Highly recommend for great food and service at a very reasonable price. Hope to book again in the near future.
Staff good and polite made welcomed. Booked for 5pm, no roast dinners left except pork. Kids only had one choice and only one flavour of ice cream. We all had to eat with our coats on as it was freezing in the conservatory area. Won't recommend it to anyone defanetly won't be going back
We went in on a Saturday afternoon after a wee walk. Food was great. Service was fast. Our waitress was fabulous..so polite and genuinely interested in how we were enjoying our visit. The only thing that left a nasty taste in our mouth was, a random bloke, we assume he was management. He came in half way through our visit. He came nowhere near us. Stared a bit. Walked about looking important.Didn't interact at all.We paid our bill by card and my husband told our lovely waitress that he had left something for her on the table. Well..... management bloke moved like Linford Christie to tidy the table. Hope she sees some of it. Kinda spoiled our experience.
This is the second time we have had a meal brilliant!! Another couple of friends have been a few times. Staff great and friendly too! Very attentive and also let you get on with your meal. Well done! ????
