So, I got the meal box thing £5.90 and you get to choose out of 6 or 8 main dishes to go with either rice or noodles. The picture does it no justice as it looks like I’ve clearly gone for rice and forgot about the main (which is not one of the options for the meal box) but I can’t knock him he’s added vegetables(along with two very small pieces of chicken ) to the side of the container for decoration.
It gets better….. he gives me a 10% discount because I’ve collected my rice and peppers, but the total he charged me was £5.99, So he done me for 9p iswell which I did point out as a laugh not that I was bothered by it at the time but now I feel like I’ve been mugged by the triads.
I was going to give it another star because the rice was actually on point, but after a few spoon fulls I felt Like I dived into a sandpit with my mouth open….. So I’m going to leave it with just the one star.

Love this restaurant. Anytime I want some Chinese takeaway this is my place of choice. You have to try the chip bag, chips, chicken pieces and salt and pepper spices, what's not to like. Forgot to take pictures as I was too excited to eat the food which was delicious as usual ????
I’ve been going to Number One for about 2 years and their food is always nice every time we’ve ordered from them. It’s my go to Chinese and I would recommend.
Had a basic chicken chow mein. If you can call it that 6peices of chicken the size of a 5p piece. Noodles so greasy that I had a puddle of grease left in the tub when noodles taken out. Curry sauce was more like curry water. Was hoping for better as it’s hard to find a decent Chinese. This unfortunately another one not to use again.
No words fo describe why the best Chinese in town continue to employ the most hideously rude and mental delivery driver , after myself and various other people have complained he is still the most shockingly rude man I’ve ever met , literally horrendous ruining the business my friends have gone elsewhere because of this
This is our Number One! The staff are always so friendly and helpful. We love the food and it is good value for money. Keep it up!
Love this chinese! This is the only place me and my partner eat from, the delivery guy is such a sweetheart always very polite, staff inside I swear I see more as friends now they are that lovely couldn't do enough for you! Food is always beautiful and hot, prices are really cheap compared to others I've seen. Couldn't ask for a better Chinese takeaway and will always highly recommend :)
