I had fish and chips on Friday, best meal I've had in ages, thanks. Liked the new decor and seats, very comfortable.
This was the best fish and chips I've had in years. Introduced me to battered pizza- I need this again. Its just a brilliant place, I hope to be in the area again sometime to call in.
Chicken burger £5. 1cm thick the size of the palm of your hand. Wouldn't be enough for a kids meal. Served up on a plain bun, no mayo or lettuce. This place isn't a chippy, it's a cafe pretending to be a chippy (or the other way around), so the food isn't chippy standard but the prices are that of a cafe.

Pity its cash. Only food good parking not to bad only street. Parking wheelchair access good
Without a doubt the WORST chipper around. The fish were so rubbery that they put boot soles to shame, the battered "cheese burger" was a glorified miccymeal with no cheese and no bun, the chips were about as apatising as pencil shavings, the dirty fries were cold and the vinegar was basically brown water. Terrible chipper, better off eating out of a bin

I'll be honest, I used to hate this place and thought it was terrible, haven't eaten from there in years because of it... BUT...
This time was very very good, 20x better than the 'other chippy in forres'.
It has improved so much and I definitly be back. The batter was golden and crisply as it should be, portion sizes were great, and the prices are much more reasonable for the food than the other place.
The only reason it dropped a star was I thought the chips were a little bit on the dry side.
Apart from that, thank you and well done, a definite improvement from the last time I ate there.
Lovely staff , polite and friendly, food very tasty and every where is very clean .
