Best KPortal Reviews

Receptionist have been very rude. She was nice to all the other patients but not so nice to foreigners like myself. Very disappointed.
First time visiting, took me 5 days to even get an appointment, the online booking system was a joke, booked me in for an appointment time that wasn’t even available? Then had to wait on the telephone in a queue to see what was going on with the booking. Waited 1 hour 15 mins after my scheduled appointment to even be seen, no apologies for making me wait, the amount of complaints I heard from people to the receptionists for a variety of issues was ridiculous. The receptionists were unfriendly and didn’t care. Trying to get a parking space was ridiculous. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
A Crucial Review of Northbrook's Staff Behavior
Life long patient since 1990. I am writing to express my serious concerns regarding the interactions in I've had today and in recent years and with the majority of staff at Northbrook. I feel I have no choice to write this review today to warn others of disregard for patients exhibited by staff.
Firstly, staff failed to act on my subject of access request until the very last minute. I was told by text my documents had been printed off and to go and collect them, upon collection was informed that Dr. Thandi had denied access on the grounds of serious potential harm? Instead i have been given a 2-page document which should have been a full 60 page record. The explanation provided for this denial seems unfounded and inconsistent.
In my discussions with the staff regarding the unfounded denial of my records, I observed Patricia who works behind reception smirking in response to my frustration. What's more concerning is that her behavior didn't stop there. She continued to interact in a very patronizing and disrespectful manner, undermining my concerns and treating me condescendingly. This behavior further underscores the staff's lack of empathy and professionalism, exacerbating my distress. Dr. Thandi has been consistently awkward in past meetings with him, leaving me with a distinct impression of his patronizing and odd demeanor.
This situation has also raised questions about GDPR compliance. The challenges I've faced in accessing my own personal data, appear to violate the principles outlined by the ICO. Moreover, claims that viewing my records could lead to self-harm are entirely baseless, as I have never displayed such tendencies, nor does my medical history suggest any such risk of self harm or suicidal tendencies. To anyone with a ounce of common sense this is just ridiculous.
I believe that this matter extends beyond administrative mishandling. I have reason to believe that there might be an element of malicious intent involved. Supporting this assertion, there has been instances where Dr. Thandi has omitted critical aspects of my health information from referrals. These omissions have had dire financial implications of which Dr Thandi was fully aware of, costing me significant amounts, upwards of £25,000, and causing substantial physical and emotional distress. It appears that Dr. Thandi's judgment deviates from established guidelines, potentially compromising patient well-being.
Given these circumstances, I have already taken decisive steps. Today I've consulted a legal firm and am proceeding with further actions to address the ramifications of these distressing events. The impact on various aspects of my life has been profound and necessitates a just and fair resolution. I urge people to file complaints and keep records of everything when dealing with abusive staff to ensure that patients are treated with the respect and care they deserve
Dr Clark has been absolutely brilliant with our family over the past few months. Everything she has said she will do she has done and kept us fully updated. Can't thank her enough for the support she has given. Also, everytime I contact the surgery, the Receptionists are always extremely friendly and helpful.
The receptionist are ridiculously condescending and rude. I would love to see their PHDs as they certainly talk to you as though they have then. Big toad behind reception thinking shes god. Sack her shes a disgrace
Overall, a very good GP and medical centre. You always are given emergency GP slots when needed. Online bookings are easily done. The GPs are very professional and they generally keep appointments on time too. With a pharmacy on site, this is another positive feature. Whilst there is never a perfect service in life, this medical centre is of high quality in my judgement. Thank you to the Northbrook team!
I have been a patient at this practice since we moved to Solihull in 1981, and have always found it to be very good. Yes, the wait to see a named GP can be difficult, but that is the case all over the UK. I haven't seen a GP that I have found difficult to deal with or unsympathetic, and that says a lot about the practice.
My local surgery. Don't go often. But nice new waiting area (been there well over 5 years). Car park is for the local park I think. Touchscreen when you get in.
