It's been a long time since I had chippy chips that amazing! Great tasting crispy fish too! I didn't even want to add any sauce as I just didn't want to take away from that flavour! ???????????????? Super friendly and the owners even spoiled my dog with some chips too!

Absolutely fantastically fresh fish with light crispy batter and fluffy but crispy chips. What can more can I say?! This is one of the best chippies I’ve been to. The 5 star reviews speak for them selves. Keep up the great work!
Lovely chips, we called in 5 minutes before closing, absolutely no issues! popped some chips in, went for large box of chips, both me and misses struggle to finish them all, but seemed rude not to. No hesitation in recommending this chippy great food and helpful staff we will be back !!!!!!
Stopped by at lunchtime and had freshly cooked fish and chips. The fish was beautifully white in a light coating of batter and the chips reminded me of the ones my grandma used to make - delicious. The place was really clean and the staff were very friendly. I will make a point of returning here if I pass through Ripon.
I have to say this was THE BEST Fish N Chips I have EVER had. Fish was cooked fresh and to perfection and the chips were just bang on.. crispy and soft inside and not a soggy one in sight.. Even my youngest son polished every last bit of his off too which he never does.. highly recommend ????
Such an awesome find. We'd travelled from Pontefract to go to Fountains Abbey, got there a realised we had to book so went to find some food and stumbled across this place... so glad we did it made the hour drive there 100% worth it.
Our local, by far the best fish and chips in ripon! I would not go anywhere else! Staff are so friendly lovely people! The portion sizes are perfect we are always happy and I love fish and chips! Clean and tasty! Anyone who says otherwise are just very picky! Absolutely fantastic chippy in ripon!
I called in and ordered a “SPECIAL”, I thoroughly enjoyed their version, ie one and a half fish with a beautiful portion of chips. I was Very impressed when the fryer looked horrified, when I suggested “I can always warm it in the microwave “ that told me he was passionate about what he does.
