Popped in for some advive on my vehicle, they guys there couldn't have been more helpful, you could tell they are very knowledgeable.
I own a classic car and took her to North Elmham Garage for an MOT. Now we had a few advisories from the previous garage last year but we carried out the work to get her tip-top condition. This time we trusted this garage as it has some reasonably good reviews. My MOT failed and had a list of 6 things that needed repairing immediately (one of which was an headlamp they “fixed” 2 weeks prior) and 3 thing on the advisory list, I was quoted £1,150 not including labour. This was extremely hard to believe as I know my car and this was an excessive list really… I took her to a local garage to get her re-MOTd and it cost me £9.99 for a bulb and that was it!! This is absolutely disgusting considering the price and list difference. When I rang the other garage and explained I was unhappy they knew instantly and even said “was it North Elmham” before I could even tell them. To me this says far too much. They have forever lost me as a customer. If I could give no stars I would! Definitely would NEVER recommend this garage for any their classic car services.
Turned up without an appointment after picking up a puncture. I was given a lift home and collected later that day once the tyre was replaced. Very happy with the speed of service and friendliness of the owners.
We had concerns about our Megane burning through more oil than in it used to. The guys were really great with us. We opted to have an overdue oil change and an Engine Deep Clean. The staff went over things with us & were friendly. For the work and labour undertaken, the price seemed really fair. Having recently moved to the area, we will definitely be returning to have our car serviced here.

Really very pleased with the service I received here. They were very efficient and helpful, as well as good value for money.
I have a 1983 Ford capri that I sent down to North elmham for an mot.
The mot was done on the 19/3/21. The car failed the mot "apparently needing extensive work" at this point I was working away in America and I was due back in 7 weeks. so I gave North elmham the go ahead to do the "work" it apparently needed taking their word as gospel.
North elmham told me the cost of the mot repairs would be in around £1200, this included brakes all round, tightening of a seat basic repairs.
whilst I was away North elmham did no work within the 7 weeks. I called them as soon as I landed back in the UK. North elmham then told me they couldn't carry out the work as the car had failed it's compression test ( something I didn't ask to be done) so it needed a new engine or an engine rebuild.
North elmham then quoted me £2000 + a new engine for the car to be road worthy.
I have since taken the car to another garage who has told me the car doesn't even need more then half the mot failure list North elmham claimed it did.
the garage I have now taken it to has quoted me £250 to get the car road worthy with added extras.
I find it hard to believe North elmham service station has got such a good reputation when they have the audacity to try and charge customers for things that they don't need such as engine rebuilds.
