This review is based on the food. Service was lovely , staff are excellent and even provided doggy with food. Nice decor inside.
However the breakfast was so overpriced for what it was and we waited over half an hour.
The quality was not great and £40 for four people compared to £25 for weather spoons.
Don't get me wrong far nicer presentation and pleasent but not worth the money.

We as a family from different countries met halfway from each other, the staff were amazing, couldn’t be more helpful. The afternoon tea was fantastic, they cater for all types of requirements and displayed beautifully, we were even given doggy bags to take home what we could not finish!! Outstanding place
Had a lovely lunch with my Mum in here today, clean, warm, inviting. The menu looked great and very reasonable for what we received! The food was delicious! I took a photo to send to my friends and they all want to try! Will definitely be back, for cuppas and food in the future! Keep it up! :) X
A bit disappointed! We went for classic burger and this is our experience.
The burger meat, the rustic fries and the dressing were really good - but the bread and the salad side were really bad.
The quality of the bread was really bad (it was like eating the one in mc donald's) and the salad was not fresh for sure. It was not a 10£ burger value.
The staff was really friendly and welcoming.
We won't be back for the burger, unless they don't change the quality of the bread.
We had a pair of afternoon teas, impossible to complain about the quality or the quantity.
Great value for money in a beautiful building.
Was invited here for a private function. The food was fantastic. Like way better than your usual buffet with lots of choice for all different tastes including the kids. A good example would be that the sausage rolls were home made and not frozen. Sounds like a small thing, but for me it clearly shows the quality and value for money on offer. The staff were all really friendly and the owners chatted to us. A pleasant surprise was that the drinks were very reasonably priced and less than some of the chain places in the town centre. The whole experience was really good. I wouldn't hesitate to go here for another meal and would recommend booking for a special occasion or private function. It would be great for a Christmas party due to the central location.
We took over the place for a dive club party. Groups of 30 plus get the venus free. Good service, choice of menu presented as buffet
