Nirala sweet shop is pretty good for a chain shop. You can grab all usual Asian Sweets and prices are reasonable. On the plus side they do offer cakes although I haven’t tried one yet. One patron said they are goon and she grabs one for her kids bday every year. The other plus is they have homemade yogurt in the clay dish. Good place to your Ramadan sweets if that’s your thing.
Nirala Sweets are our go to sweet shop whenever we go to Luton. Their sweets are fresh and tasty. The white milk meethai is an absolute delight, and the badaam milk is a must-try as well. These sweets alone are worth the visit.
On the downside, their savory items like chaat were just average. They didn't quite live up to the sweet side of things. Samosas are good as well.
However, I have one suggestion for Nirala Sweets that could make a big difference – if they trained their staff to be more friendly, it would definitely earn them some extra points in my book. Customer service can truly enhance the overall experience.
Ruined our Eid party!
We were huge fans of Nirala’s sweet and but I am done with this shop now.
My husband drove 40mins to Luton branch on Friday to get Jalebi, bought 4kg as we had Eid party on Saturday.
It was most vile Jalebi I ever tasted! Had to discard the whole lot in the bin.
Very disappointed. Will never come to this shop again.
Compare to other bakeries, they are the best. All the sweets are delicious, and bakery is also up to the top standard.
Went in to buy some sweets , wanted some small triangle shaped sweets to put in Eid boxes , however one of the guys said we couldn’t have too many of those ones because it would ruin his display . The whole point is to sell to the customer . It’s a very small world.
This place has always been my favourite for sweets.
I got my cousin who lives in Luton to get a cake for my husband’s birthday and she chose to get it from Nirala. My Husband said that the cake was tasting great and is definitely worth the £.
Neatness in cake can be improved.
