Cafe Mendos has become my staple Saturday breakfast when I'm in the area.
You will be given a warm welcome by the team and they serve your standard range of cafe food.
I go for a mega 3 breakfast (pictured), which goes down a treat. Hash browns are crispy, choice of drinks and toast/fried bread. Good value for the size of portions given.
Food is cooked to order and service is friendly. When I take a little one with me, they always make sure to address them and make them feel welcome too. High chairs available.
It's located behind the hand car wash, near to B and M.
If you like a full English, I would recommend!
Was driving through and stopped off for a quick coffee. The coffee was surprisingly very good. Strong and full of flavour. I ended up getting an omelette as well, with no problems with anything. I didn't see anything that was dirty. I'd recommend it for a short break.
Overpriced very poor quality greasy food. It was SWIMMING in grease. Bland cheap ingredients even the beans had no flavour and the bacon and sausage were hideous. Everything was blackened because it was cooked in dirty greasy pans. Never again
We had a quick lunch, a bacon roll, and a coffee. Bacon was perfectly cooked and coffee really good.
Very friendly staff too.
I travel from devon to meet family and always come here to eat, the standard and quality of the food and service is outstanding everytime. Its well worth a visit you won't be disapointed

I do really like this place, the food is good and guys are friendly and funny, the prices are very fair and they do a great milkshake.
However, the timings advertised are completely wrong. They say they open everyday at 0600 online and on the signs on the door. I’ve been there multiple times at about 0620 hoping to get some food before work but unfortunately they’ve always been closed at this time, to be honest I’ve never seen them open before 0800. Don’t let this put you off it’s a great cafe I’d just recommend not going to early to avoid disappointment.
