What an absolute gem of a place this is! If you've never been and want to taste truly authentic Thai food, Nings is a MUST!
Set right by the side of the canal, it's a peaceful location but does get busy, and it's advisable to book a table in advance, however we chose to turn up and order food to take away. Patience is needed as the food is served from a really small trailer, and the aromas coming from it really do make your mouth water.
There are lots of tables outside which is ideal when the weather is nice, with an old looking convoy carriage serving wine, beers and ciders for anyone that likes a drink or two.
As for the food - wow - it was definitely worth the wait for it. Bursting with the flavour and expertly cooked, it's Thai food at its best.
Payment can be made via card or cash and the food is light on the budget too - but that doesn't compromise the quality.
Will certainly be back very soon!

The food was good. Service was fairly slow, but it was a busy night, and it's a nice area to hang out, with a barrel fire for warmth and various musical entertainment. Friendly folks and a very charming, bohemian feel to the furnishings, decorations, and the food and drink wagons, with fairy lights at night, and a barrel fire to warm things up on cold nights. Nice and relaxing.
Gosh, it is a little gem here indeed. The food, the atmosphere, the people! If you have a chance come here and spend an hour or two. Enjoy the outlandishly fantastic food and lovely community.
One of a kind place. Authentic Thai food, pad thai and a beer by the canal in your flip-flops, you can't beat it. We're regulars and love it.
There are so many things I miss about Thailand but food has to be one of the things I miss most! British Thai takeaways never really hit the spot and are often pretty poor at recreating authentic Thai flavours..
But Ning does an amazing job! The dishes are all authentic Thai dishes that you'll find being cooked at homes throughout Thailand and the flavours are absolutely stunning! Really Great food, a few different dishes each weekend, really good value for money and all served with a smile and a Thai thank you!
