Came to this Bistro for the first time yesterday, only one table free and was busy the whole time we were there and can see why. Firstly the ladies in there are lovely, very friendly and quick service.
As we walked in we looked at the food on other tables, all of it looked lovely! We got the American style breakfast and panini. Considering that the cafe clearly uses quality ingredients, the price was very good! Food was lovely and we'd definitely visit again.
Came here after doing the Clacton parkrun and had a lovely veggie breakfast and latte. Top quality.
Worth a visit just for their proper pot of tea.
I like a strong brew - and with two tea bags in a pot that’s exactly what I got. A jug of hot water provided if you don’t like a builders brew. Oh and their food. Somebody here knows how to cook and present a great choice of food - that’s a refreshing change these days in the world of ping meals. I had a delicious prawn salad and the misses had Scampi and homemade chips. Both thoroughly enjoyed. We’ll have no hesitation returning to Tracey’s. Well done guys.
My family and I visited on the 3rd of December 2022 to celebrate my mother's birthday, and honestly, we were delighted by the entire experience.
The level of customer service was terrific. The team catered to all of the needs of our party members.
We were also incredibly impressed by the food portions and the food quality.
We were entertained by great conversation with the team members, lovely background music and conversational Christmas crackers.
Overall, the experience left us all feeling uplifted.

I know there have been many reviews on this place. However, Nikki has taken over. The food here is absolutely beautiful. Not only do the flavours inspire your taste buds to go places they've never been before, but the quality of the food itself is always of the highest standard. The curry goat is seasoned to perfection and slow cooked to the point that the meat just drops off the bone! The West Indian Chicken is one of the most authentic tasting dishes you can get, outside of being there yourself! And the coconut rice and beans are always fluffy and fragrant and hits the spot!
But first and foremost, this place does the best fry up in the area, BY FAR! The butchers sausages are divine. Succulent and juicy, yet perfectly firm and full off flavour! Even the bread is high-quality bread!
Nikki and her family are so friendly and welcoming! They are so happy to accommodate your needs, and when it's quiet (which is very rare), they do love a good chin wag!
The only complaint I have is that the place could be bigger as sometimes I can't get a seat and am forced to get takeaway, lol.
Oh, and the homemade cheesecake! Oh my God! You have never had cheesecake like it! The expectations of a heavy, dense, overly sweet cream, is immedieatly recinded to the most heavenly cheesecake that just melts in your mouth as though you're biting into a cloud!
You will not regret eating here!
Came here with my family of 8 and they were very accommodating. The service was lovely, nice family vibes. The food was amazing. Seasoned well and made to perfection. Prices are very resonable. Great community and clientele in the cafe. Would defo be a regular
5 stars for food, friendliness and atmosphere. A random stop on our way through town, and we will come back this way just to eat here again.
Fresh food, well and home made, good portions and a great selection. Tracy's made us very happy! Even our little puppy got spoilt.
Stumbled upon this little gem recently on a day trip, wish we lived nearer. Very welcoming & friendly service, delicious food & a good choice of dishes on the menu. Sadly there were no tables available when we arrived but as suggested we waited by the bar & eventually one became available. Incredibly tasty home cooked food I would highly recommend & can’t wait to come back for my next visit.
