Came here for lunch today with my daughter. Had the Wexford Chicken off their new menu. It was absolutely amazing! And so reasonably priced! I am well known for leaving half my dinner. But I ate everything! It was so tasty! We will be back again soon!
Lovely visit to the newton arms Bobby and Liv were so welcoming. They recommend a nice gin. Ordered food and they even recommend the extra side to try so we did!! The shots were even better as they could see we were celebrating so they told us to try them! Definitely upsold me on the double gin though!

Went for a Sunday roast here the dinner was disgusting every single item was frozen! Frozen veg frozen roasties even frozen stuffing balls that I’m so happy I only got one of. the gravy was basically brown water the service was shocking it was Sunday afternoon around 3pm there was only about 7 people in there and five of them where staff. Avoid
Took my partner for lunch 13/01/2024 i had chicken and bacon batch chips and a lovely tasty salad with it and he had chicken and bacon wrap with chips and salad both were absolutely gorgeous ! Very filling and lovely tasty fragrance with every mouthful!! For £6.95 each we were made up! Full and happy and brill price to boot! Staff friendly and approachable great atmosphere clean and presentable fab family place to eat!! ????
Myself and my family have just had a gorgeous beef roast dinner! It was so tasty, came out really hot and the atmosphere was lovely too! I'd highly recommend ????
This has been our local for years and years.Never really eaten there but we have recently see lots of fantastic looking food coming from the kitchen. The new Menu is great. So on Saturday after shopping Mel treated me to lunch WELL it was fantastic.Mel ordered the pie of the day with Mash and he loved it. Me the big fat greedy cow ordered the 3 small plates thinking it would be like tapas well it wasn’t they were bloody huge for small plates I won’t do that again ????????. I ordered the meatballs they were delicious the chilli nachos were lovely and the chicken wing in hot sauce were amazing I loved every single bite. I will be back for food again. Really really pleased.keep it up
Me and my boyfriend have just had the nicest meal I've had in such a long time in the Newton Arms. Don't usually leave reviews but WOW. I will definitely be recommending it to my friends and family. Really lovely welcoming pub and the staff and locals where so friendly can't wait to come back for seconds..
