We ordered Special Foo Yung, Fillet Steak with Ginger & Onion, Dry Salted Spiced King Prawn, Bean Sprouts and Plain Rice for supper tonight. It was delicious! Thank you.
I ordered a chow mein, seriously the chicken tasted really weird, it did not taste like how chicken should, I had one bite then i took all of the chicken out to eat it without but even then it didn't taste very nice, it has to be the worst Chinese I have had, I chucked most of it in the bin, put off having a Chinese again!
Go to every time for a Chinese! Love it
UPDATE: doctors have told me that I’ve got campylobacter, after narrowing it down the only way I could have contracted this is from the Chinese. Never again :(
I never complain but the standard of the food we’ve had tonight was awful. This was our go to take away, but after this evening we will be going elsewhere. The mushroom rice was horrible, the chow mein inedible, we have thrown most of it away.
Used to be really nice, just had a delivery of awful dry food. So bad we have thrown the majority in bin. Very dry rice, ribs inedible, chow mein absolutely awful!

NEW REVIEW: after being a customer for 3 months today I've finally had to change me review. Our chicken dishes today had a squidgy tough texture and some peices were pink inside! After the return the staff member told us it was cooked and that blood was normal in chicken! Then basically threw a refund at us when all we wanted was new food. This is similar to how the staff usually are, except the food is usually nice so we do not mind. After this we went to another Chinese in ashby and found the quality was better, staff was lovely and food was fresh.
OLD REVIEW:Not only did we recieve our order quickly during a busy time, but the girl at the till was so sweet and smiley, and it was the best Chinese food we had a in a very long time! The chow mein was actaully saucy and tasted brilliant and the sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style was warm and fresh! Our new local! Will definitely be buying from you again!
Fantastic! Food arrived 15mins early, all 5 dishes were tasty and the texture on batter/vegetables proved it was freshly cooked. The particular high point for me was the Peking Spare Ribs, fell off the bone, taste was authentic and the prices are very sensible. Highly recommended!
