Unfortunately, a disappointing experience with a takeaway tonight. We haven’t had take away from there for some time and not sure if ownership has changed but it’s not Chinese it used to be few years ago. Order was messed up. Asked for plain rice and there was egg in it. Ordered two portions of vermicelli ( one mixed veg , one chicken) asked for them to be made not spicy as it was for children. Turned up spicy as hell and children didn’t touch it at all. Chicken vermicelli had slices of pork, which my daughter doesn’t eat. Won’t be going back or recommending it I am afraid.
Just happened to be passing by the New Golden Kitchen and decided to pop in and get a takeaway.
The service was excellent and I only waited for 10 minutes from the point of entering ordering and leaving which I thought was very quick.
I only ordered Chicken Curry and Special Fried Rice and it was excellent, cooked to perfection and very generous size portions.
Will definitely be going back to the New Golden Kitchen in the future.
Food was actually really nice. The place is very busy, so order your food in advance. Person taking the orders was very patient and polite. Recommended. This is a take away only.
Ordered New Year's Eve dinner for family. Even though they were extremely busy, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. Well done New Golden Kitchen and wishing you all a happy New Year.
Awful, worst ever! If you want to throw your hard earned money away this is the place to do it! I thought I was giving my family a treat! Disgusting, only thing edible was rice.
Really poor- chicken with cashew nuts was like a sweaty cabbage soup, crispy beef wasn’t much better. Singapore chow mein was okay. Really disappointed- this is our only takeaway in the village.
In our opinion it’s by far the nicest takeaway around us, we have to drive 15 mins to get it but it’s worth it.
Best Chinese takeaway in the area, very consistent in quality
