ordered takeout from here last night. would not take card only cash which i didn't see as too much of a problem, however me and my boyfriend have both woken up with food poisoning this morning and both feel awful. there didn't look to be anything wrong with the food when we received it other then it being extremely greasy but are extremely disappointed that restaurant food standards can still be this low.
Ordered Kung pow chicken, spare ribs in sauce and chips.
Terrible. Chips were like cardboard and the kung pow tasted like it had been dinged in the microwave from last week. The fact it only took them 2 minutes to come up with my order should have been a red flag.
Not had the ribs yet. Not sure I want to.
Absolute rubbish and embarrassing for them. Based on other reviews, do they care?
Over priced too for one person.
As usual, a delicious meal, thank you. Had my son and daughter in law staying and they thought it was one of the best they’ve had. Plenty to eat and friendly, helpful owners too. Would highly recommend and will be back soon.

A very good English and Chinese takeaway. They have good food at decent prices, good service and fairly quick waiting times. This has a lot of Competition from Happy Chef which is only a short drive down the road, because of this, it doesn't attract a lot of customers but can get busy on a good day. I'd definitely recommend this to others.
Really disappointing! We ordered a takeaway from here because Happy Chef was closed. Never again! The food was bland and the only discernible flavours were salt and monosodium glutamate. Even the prawn crackers were salty. Vastly inferior to Happy Chef.
