WORTH THE READ if your thinking of purchasing or have used this company!
Not even worth a star!! This company is by far the worse company I have ever had to deal with! Please please DO NOT part your money with these people! We parted with over £2000 expecting delivery in 3-5 days. We were then fobbed off for two weeks without any confirmation at all about a delivery, we phoned each day asking for confirmation and yet we would get another excuse, " a delay" but without an explanation as to why there was a delay. The fraud team had to investigate this for us, we eventually got our engine delivered 41 days later with no warning what's so ever. It was no longer needed as I had to purchase an engine from a much more RELIABLE company. However I returned the engine that engine engineering sent me in replace of the old unit which was meant to go back from my van, which they was meant to give me a refund on, however two weeks after taking the engine back I am told it's not a straight refund I have to go through a cancellation process which works in there favour because you only receive 20% through a refund. , yes we paid over £2000 and are only expecting back the deposit of £620 and they can't even do that. This is still ongoing and we are still waiting on the deposit from these people which quite honestly I don't think we will get. The men you speak to are intimidating and have also reached the local headlines for police raids on armed weapons and stolen goods, a member of staff was also attacked while opening up. Probably because they have frauded them people off too! Please please don't use this company. They took our family's money and couldn't care less don't let them do it to you.
Do not deal with this company. They are crooks. They will not give you're deposit on the engine back. The courier will delay picking up the engine and then they say it arrived back late and you're not entitled to a refund. When I asked for a breakdown of the surcharges they told me it would cost £300 for a report. When I asked for the contact number of the accounts department they said they didn't have it. STAY AWAY!
Appalling company, 6 July 2015 I ordered and paid £1,500 for an engine, a week later they sent the wrong one and denied it even though 2 independent mechanics confirmed it was wrong, EE insisted on having both engines back, once they had both engines they said they would recondition mine in 3 - 5 days - 7 weeks and 50+ phone calls later they tried to deliver and i refused, I am now trying to get my money back.
From all those phone calls plus e-mails and a letter the entire response was NIL.
My advice? Treat this place as if it were an Ebola containment centre. Had I seen just ONE of the other negative reviews below back in early August on googlemaps... I'd have stayed well clear! Unfortunately for me I have since blown £6.3k on engine‬ and ‪twin turbo‬ refurbs‬ only for it to fail after less than a 1000 miles/18 days. Yet more costs were incurred to have a Land Rover dealership complete a full fault diagnostic report soon after, in which I was advised to 'return the vehicle for warranty repair' as suspect 'internal mechanical failure'.
After constant phone calls/emails over the past 9 WEEKS (with near ZERO response) and vehicle in their possession for ‪warranty‬ claim/repair, I finally find out they won't honour my 12 month warranty. I am still awaiting a written response, after numerous requests!! But now that 8 weeks have passed, I am finally able to commence legal action! I have already filed a ‎complaint‬ to the Financial Ombudsman Service, courtesy of assistance from the Citizens Advice Bureau. Have also processed a claim/dispute under Section 75 for debit/credit card charge back, which fortunately for me, my very friendly bank have assured me they are willing to extend beyond the debit card payment cover of just 120 days, such is the case I put forward.
Note - Transactions for faulty and/or stolen (not suggesting for a moment anything was stolen re EE Ltd!) goods are covered for one year I believe, on a Credit Card No cover with paypal/cash. Be Warned.
Tip - Google - 'Daily Record Engine Engineering' (dated Dec 10th 2015) I am not alone. I am now concerned as to whether my original engine is still in fact where it should be, which is why I have today appointed a renowned company - Dekra to file an independent report, which will provide invaluable evidence/proof, but also at the request of my bank...in order to proceed with next step of the ongoing charge back claim.
It is also easy enough to read online forums of this same company folding it's business only to change it's name (four times at least) and/or address and start afresh all over again! Find it appalling that they are allowed to get away with this!! Makes me wonder who else out there has been stung. I have not found one single positive review. Anyone care to step forward with anything good to say about their service to customers/customer service???
Bought Mondeo Engine £ 1700 plus (inc s/chg). 5 days turned into 5 weeks. Quite satisfied with the workmanship with the engine supplied. However, they messed up the return courier request and refuse to return my surcharge (£480) saying it was returned late though it was clearly their cock-up. Company has a real poor approach towards customer service.
If this is the sales side -- can you imagine what a warranty claim would be like???
Now seeking recovery via Trading Standards / Legal channels.
BIG mistake choosing this company!!!
I had my Subaru engine refurbished early 2015, it went to them in October 2014 and due to staff sickness and the fact they were moving premises and several other fob offs I finally,(after numerous calls to which im still waiting for replies to) got my engine back in January 2015.
All was fine until it started making noise and leaking oil so it went back in November 2015 using the 12month warranty.
Now seeing as it was the festive period and most places shut down for the holidays I refrained from calling given my previous experience of their prompt and efficient customer service. When I did call I was told the engine was being worked on and all was going well. The next time I was told that there had been a problem with the block and it was going to take a while longer. several calls later and I was told that the engine was ready and would be released the following week, Im still waiting and every time I call im given the excuses of the system hasn't been updated, the mechanic has gone home, the electric has been off, occasionally I was told yes all is fine and it will be delivered in a few days...
Still waiting Feb 2016 and the company has been on the news regarding Multi agency investigations where firearms, luxury cars, company records and computers were seized.

I had to give 1 star before this review would post its a shame there isn't a minus star option
I ordered a recon engine for my renault traffic at the beginning of Nov after the timing chain had slipped on the old one, i recieved the order on time 5 days later.
This is when the fun started, i gave them the make, model and reg of my vehicle and they supplied the wrong engine (sound familiar). After contacting them they said they would pick up the incorrect order along with my old unit and compare them and rebuild and dispatch the correct engine,
it took over 25 phone calls and a week to collect the both the engines, they were collected on a tuesday, i gave them till friday and called them for an update only to be told that they could not take returns or dispatch any orders as the chain on their workshop door was broken and it wouldnt open. (cods wallop)
Ive since discovered that they were visited by police and trading standards that very same week and this was the reason that they weren't trading.
In a nut shell this company has £2452 of my money, ive not had an engine off them and they have basically stolen my old engine, I am currently fighting to get my money back via a section 75 as i had the foresight to pay on my credit card
STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A DISGRACE, THEY NEARLY PUT ME OUT OF WORK .
DO NOT USE!!!!!!! They supplied us the wrong engine. Excepted it was wrong and had the engine collected from us with the promise of a refund. We as of yet have had no refund and are taking court action. The worst company I have ever dealt with. AVOID AT ALL COST!!
