Second time I have been here and took some friends visiting from Poland. Food was excellent and my Polish friends could not finish it (they over-ordered), but did not want to waste it and asked for "doggy bags" to take it away with them back to their Hotel. Really good service, nice atmosphere and the guy that took our order was so good.Gave advice and suggestions to ensure that everyone enjoyed their meal. I have rarely seen this before. I now live in Birmingham but am considering taking my family back to Alfreton for a meal on our next Birthday "Family meal".
We haven't been to this restaurant for years loved to know the same family owned it. We have been going to the coast for yrs at weekend due to having a caravan on the coast and missed going out locally . You have done a great job of the décor but the main reason we like your restaurant is your charming helpful staff!!Your food is first class and good value for money. We used to love coming to see you guys once a week for many years prior to this . My son always comes to you guys as he loves the friendly atmosphere. Our family from Holland also visited and wish you health wealth and hapiness
Horrendous service!! Review even removed from just eat because it was negative. Wrong collection time given, 5 waiters intimidated my girlfriend because she asked for a full refund and abusive manager after we had to contact just eat to resolve the issue. Also be aware, this restraint does not offer the advertised discount on collection if you order on just eat! Disgusted!!
Good filling Indian food but a little over priced. Takeaway more reasonable but you have to collect it yourself if you want the lower prices. Pleasant dining area but cramped and low ceiling and awkward double door on entrance.

Keep going back because it's good food every time, good price on collected takeaways (half price on over £15, so £7.50 etc)

Well ive have tried all of there curries..always have chicken curry..ive even asked for there hottest phal..wasnt hot enough..but tonight ive had a chicken naga vindaloo and was the best curry ive ever had from there...it was very hot how I like it and the flavor was brill
Superb food, worth to try Bangladeshi Village Dishes, couldn't fault any part of the experience of during here. Many thanks to all the staff, visit again soon.
