I visited for the first time last week and very surprised. It only has one table to seat 4 inside, tables outside when weather is good.

I had coffee and a cherry scone and was absolutely beautiful.

The produce sold here is first class and delicious.

Staff are very very friendly, courteous and nothing is too much trouble.

Booked table again for this week.

It truly is a little hidden ???? gem.

Continue to visit this little gem, first class food and service, love it.

Second visit to Needful Things this morning. Such a warm, friendly and personable reception and atmosphere. The coffee was tip top, accompanied by the cheese, onion and tomato toastie, which had just the right balance of flavours. We swerved the sugary delights but will be returning soon to sample some of them. Lovely venue, lovely proprietors and a lovely visit. Highly recommended for anyone who is in Sedgefield.

Tried their Christmas Soup on Friday, it was gluten free and had spectacular flavours, nutritious with loads of vegetables and meat, ideal at lunch time.

Coffee will be amazingly authentic fresh and reminiscent of sunnier climbs, going to try next

week.

We stumbled across this little gem yesterday 12-4-22 we had coffee and a pastry which were lovey and tastey. And brought a couple of things to take home. The couple who run it are a lovely couple very friendly . I would recommend everyone to call in and say hello to them and pick up something tasty for tea.

What a beautiful little deli.Visited today with my sister and Mam.The cheese scones are absolutely delicious. We bought sausage rolls ,sourdough bread and a breakfast muffin which we haven't tried yet.Highlight of the day they sell

Borritane Onions !Lovely couple,and gorgeous home made products.

Wonderful pies - roast chicken pie bulging with chicken and the steak pies are amazing. Then there are brilliant cheeses scones and a great vegan slice. And that's before we begin on the cakes! And they bravely and safely kept us going throughout the lockdown.

Amazing pies and I'm not a massive fan of pies. Brought one to cook at home and found it really good was a venison pie, really well made, nice pastry, meat was cooked perfect, not tough or dry.

Also brownies are to die for
