Would not trust these guys with a Stapler, forget a car.
I was scratched by another car, and was instructed by my insurance company that Nationwide would be in touch. This is where I made my first mistake in that I did not read the online reviews. I dropped my car off on a Friday and was contacted by an Engineer who provided an overview of the work required. I had not contact from them for 2 weeks and this is when I started chasing. There are 2 receptionists at this particular branch in Slough, one is helpful and the other one is rude. I was told the car was still waiting for part from another garage and it would be ready next week. For another 2 weeks I was chasing these guys and was told the same response, still waiting and should be ready tomorrow. It took 1 month to do a scratch, I have a feeling these guys hold on to the car until the insurance company pays them - delaying the whole process.
Please do yourself a favour and do not use these clowns.
From the moment I was contacted by NCRC when I reported an accident to my Motability car I was impressed by the service I received. Someone came from NCRC to collect my car from my home and to leave a replacement with 20 miles on the clock!
I was able to track my repair on the website which I found really useful and I had a number of telephone contacts to keep me up to date with progress.
I returned the courtesy car to Wokingham myself and was delighted with the standard of the work and the fact my car had been cleaned inside and out.
I would have no hesitation in recommending NCRC and would use them even if I was driving a private car.
Terrible, lying, disorganised. My car was kept for a minor repair for three weeks there, and they have returned it to me with just half a bodywork done; one side instead of both!! They have charged me for full, expected repair. After my complaint, they have taken the car back and promised the job done for free as a goodwill gesture. They have called me today saying they are not returning my money but they have not charged me twice as a goodwill gesture instead! Stay away from them if you can.
Absolutely terrible not happy with this place at all my car looks awful doors not aligned sent back still not right grease and oil on upholstery inside car been back twice,chip in door rivet screws in door not done up hinge on front door scratched avoid!!! Door card damaged windows scratched not taking it back was told by lee if I have it repaired with them they would do the door card as a gesture of good will when they were the ones who damaged it. Had independent inspector out they have found even more wrong with it now I sent them a quote from a 5 star company that would replace all windows and damage they had caused they have said no avoid avoid avoid this company are not registered with with the car motor ombudsman and the business know that would not give this 1 star they try and blackmail you to go with them!!!
Following a small accident I was directed to Nationwide by More Than insurance. Initial preamble was good, plus arrangement with a loan car went well - my car picked up etc..
BUT I think they maximized the overall work - they certainly took longer than expected. Communication was not great - had to chase them for updates. Final result was just about OK - it's a 4 year old car anyway.
None of this was at my expense - but Nationwide's inefficiency and added costs must be pushing up overall insurance premiums?
Rubbish service had to deal with them through a third parties insurance company after some prat drove into me. Nearly three weeks after the accident and car is still sat on my drive, after calling them everyday and countless promises of a call back noone can be bothered, car was assessed ober a week ago yet assessor still hasnt finished a quote and forwarded it to insurance company. A disgrace.
Please I request to everyone DONT USE THIS COMPANY. This company is FRAUD. They did fraud with me now im giving all this detail to news as well. Last September I did repair my car through insurance with nationwide repair and they said I have to pay my access which I did. Now suddenly paint is coming off from my car I took my car to Mercedes bodywork shop and they said this is happening because of poor and dry paint. When I complained about my car to nationwide they refused to accept they mistake. Then I spoke to my Insurance and explain them the situation as i paid it £1000 access on my car. And guess what guys found out that the actual cost was less then my access so this repair is not done through my Insurance. Nationwide repair did fraud they didn't tell me my actual cost of repair and took £1000 from. Now i contect them last 2 weeks and email them many times but each time I called or emails I have only one answer from lady called IWONA that her manager named JUSTINE will contect me but now i have decided that I will give all this details and proofs to news so everyone knows the truth about nationwide repair.

Absolutely useless, damaged my car in the process of repair and didn't return my calls, couldn't trust them to put the right pair of socks on let alone body repairs.
