Found this place online for Sunday breakfast and rode here on our motorbikes... and being a Sunday morning we were able to park outside. It has a charmingly quirky, retro style. Very friendly welcome from the staff and lovely service. The meals tasted great and were excellent value. We sat in the well-planted garden, although there was also indoor seating, because it was a hot, sunny day. Tables had parasols. Trees and shrubs provided some dappled shade and we heard the church bells striking the hour and quarters. Really nice ambience. Highly recommended and we'll definitely be here more often.
A hidden gem in the heart of Wedmore. Unassuming from the outside, there is always a warm welcome from the team and the secret treasure of a lovely garden at the back.
The interior is like an old farm house kitchen, well spaced tables and flagstone floor.
Food at Nanny Idas is honest, freshly prepared and generous in portions. It's a definite 'go to' place for me, either breakfast, cream tea (belt busting!) or lunch.
We love it!
Stopped here for coffee and cake on my way through. Lovely little village. Owners were very friendly and service great. Nice menu so would stop again for a proper lunch next time
